Meet the 1989 Nighthawk!
It's not quite finished, still haven't got all the emblems and graphics on it, but hey, GOTTA show it off!

I put the ground effects off of a 91 Trans Am from the front wheels back and kept the 89 front end. I prefer the older style nose, but love the aero look ground effects.
nice, the hood stripes look good esp with the gold on the sides the little pinstripes. I like the 85-90 nose with the 91 -92 gfx. Nice and the 4th gen wing, its a nice look. No just lower the car .

That looks really good with those side gfx and the older nose. Awesome job, I love it

The Paint job is a copy of the 98/99 Hurst/Lingenfelter Limited Edition T/A. Here is the back. The stripes don't go over the roof, just on the hood and the wing, just like the Hurst edition.

Devianb, that's cool looking what program did you use to do that with?
I have a local company working on some graphics for me, really a logo, They're trying to make some that say Nighthawk that look like the Firehawk logo, but so far I have been very unimpressed with their work.
So, I'm interested in what program you used.

I'll see what they are using, I use CorelDraw 8, but I need to either upgrade it or buy something new. THANKS!

The cold air definitely helped. I have some major traction issues off the line, but I can tell it has picked up some power due to the cold air. I'm trying to make it a true Ram Air setup, but it will take some time and some fab work.

Looks familiar!
Seriously though, awesome job man, thats very similiar to how I want to make my Trans Am look, minus the nose, rims, and paint scheme. Keep up the good work.

It always seems like I am the first and only one to disagree with the rest of the comments, but I gotta say that I don't like it. I think it would look so much better with either the 89 ground effects, or put on the 91-92 nose. However, by the looks of your sig, I bet that thing moves like a cat with it's tail on fire!

Great looking car...the paintjob and stripes look kick ***. I don't like the RAII hood too much on thirdgens because I think it looks too bulky, but it works pretty well with your car. I agree though polish those tailights =)

What about something different than how the Firehawk logo looks?
This one is the closest font I found that looked similar to the Firehawk one

You would put stickers? Or wouldn't? Go back to typing class!
I think the car looks sweet, and devianb's rendition is awesome as always, but you forgot the Pontiac arrow on the nose! That gold arrow is key!

That thing looks killer! don't change a thing! I generally don't like the 4th gen wing, RA2 hood OR the 91-92 GFX, but put them together with the older nose, black paint and mean looking gold stripes and rims... and I drool! lol. I think the lines of the ground effects and 4th gen spoiler go perfectly together from the side view. the spoiler and hood heights also go well together.
It's funny, but you added 4th gen items and it pulls off a 2nd gen muscle car look. It must be the paint scheme that's similar to the 2nd gen Special Edition "bandit" cars.

You officially have on of the three baddest birds here. Congratulations on a great job. :hail: One question, where did you get the 4th gen spoiler and how was the fitment? I just have to say again, awesome. Looks with performance to match.:hail: :hail: :hail:

Okay, I got the polish today for the taillights, so I'll get that done soon. I'm not sure about lowering it, the front is already lowered 1 inch, the fiberglass hood reclaimed soom of that by taking weight off the front. I already have trouble dragging parts around town so I'm on the fence about lowering it more.
SC82TA I like those, they look hot, I will save them in case I'm not happy with what the local shop comes up with THANKS!
I'm looking at Fikse FM/10's in Race Black for new rims, don't know yet, Kind of pricey, I do want to go to 17's so I can put 275's on the rear.

Here are some silver ones on a Blackbird. I'm not sure if they have the correct back spacing for 3rd Gen's yet. This is the closest rim I could find to the stock crosslace rims, which I think look GREAT!

87GTA Runner, I got the hood and wing from G & T Fiberglass, excellent fit and finish on both.

Good Job
And don't lower it if you think its gonna hurt the car man, it looks cool, and who needs a scratched up nose and GFX right.

Firebird89355, cool, we both chose Black, what are the odds. I like the 70's Z28hoodscoop, looks good! Is that rear wing functional?
