Painted the Calipers, put new pads and rotors on.
Doesn't look too bad. I really wanted to paint those calipers.

How did you do it? What was your process, and what kind of paint did you use?
they look great. I love the contrast btw the copper? and black.
Great job.

Nah, can't be.
Wouldn't you have to sand the caliper down with something, take off the origional finish, so that the new paint will have something to stick to? Then wouldn't you need a high-temp paint? I've never heard of caliper paint. Never really looked for it either tho.

Hell Ive used regular tremclad paint coz I was up north and didnt have access to anything. it worked perfectly, now i always use it. I dont care what anyone says coz no one can tell the difference. unless you want a metallic paint or something

I brake cleaned up the caliper, and that was pretty much it. Then I painted it with regular ole plasti-kote 8069 Medium Chestnut paint.
Someone else who had an SS camaro with my color of paint used that same color on his calipers, and I liked it. Much better than grey or silver. It contrasts good with the wheels and my paint.
Soon I plan on doing the front brakes, but because of the spacers, you can hardly even see my front calipers.

Course for 10 bucks a can, I'd rather just buy some cheap old normal high temp paint.
