Are you refering to the louvers on the rear window, or the set on the hood?

thirdgenresource will NOT gladly help you out. Their customer service and frankly business as a whole is terrible.

Hawks on the VERY other hand, is great to deal with. I'd ask them.

I have to agree with you there. My girlfriend ordered up some door seals from them. They were rude when she was ordering them, they took a month and a half to get to her, they were rude to her when she was trying to find out why it was taking so long, and to top it off, they were the wrong ones when she got them.

I'm not in the habit of bashing buisnesses, especially sponsors. But all I have heard about that place is bad news. TGO should try and do something to get them removed from sponsor status...

Use some of that 3M Plastic Emblem Glue....vise up or hold the piece(s) till dry....works like a charm! Bought my one-piece for $30...glued a few spots, sprayed a new flat black on 'em....they look better on my 88 Camaro than they did on his firebird, I'll bet.

my opinion is for one they are too hard to find these days and two window louvers shoudl have been left in the 80s with michael jackson just my two cents due to the fact you are having crazy time finding these things in good shape why not just run tint and a normal window looks ten times better

heres the pic of my bros louvers hes selling... u can see there is one problem with the 3rd line up it kinda hangs, because its missing one of the back supports there. but you can easily fab one up if it bothers you. on the car you'll barely notice unless your close up and looking for it. sorry about the size and how dirty they are (theyve been collecting dust in the back of his camaro) you can contact him here chrisnali4life@wmconnect.com

the large center one is metal (probably aluminum or something stronger) and the sides are a plastic but pretty durable. up in the center of the pic (on the top step) are the hinges (so u can wash the window w/o taking them off) with the bolts and all. there are 2 other parts (2 straps that hold the top and bottom of the large center to the glass) but i left those in the car by accident.

i have a set on my car that i am willing to sell, all they need is a good coat of paint, they dont have rust, just faded. its the same set as the ones shown above, but the entire thing is aluminum, it attaches to the rear window with tabs that clamp onto the window frame. very easy to install, nothing wrong with them at all, i just want my windows tinted instead, PM me if you are interested, and make me an offer

just to update the situation, they say they are getting me over 100$ canadain for replacements, and i did work on the louvers for a few hours getting them as fixed as i could. i epoxied the peices back in, clamped and held them for it to set, then laid fiberglass sheets under the fins with broken and cracked peices, then sanded the whole louver peices and metal fins with 400 grit and painted with auto trim specific paint. it covered flat black with a powder like paint. looks pretty good, but it still cost me 60$ to fix.

im waiting on the cash for anything further on buying another set.

Personally, i've got rear louvers on my 91 RS, and i think they look great. The car already has a mean look to it, and i think it just embellishes that further.

Yeah, I can back that up. I ordered a serpentine belt conversion kit from them, submitted my cc info and all. I got a confirmation email from them, and nothing more EVER. At least they didn't charge my CC for the parts... luckily.

(to be on the safe side, I also reported that card stolen, which I tend to do from time to time to secure my CC info.....never want the same cc info to be floating around internet databases for too long)
