no it wont looks stupid. it' only three scews to take it off, not like it's an all day project. And if you think it looks stupid after you've taken it off, it will take like 2 minutes to put it back on.

When you remove the licence plate bracket the front of center section it will have the Camaro name on it. At least my 87 IROC-z had it and I don't think GM had different dies for other models.

I'm guessing by his handle, he has an RS, so he'd get the louvered grille, which is just more louvers under it, no fancy camaro or chevy logo.

These cars don't look bad with the plate removed, and remove the whole grill, some detail painting and cleaning. Or get a grill on Ebay, couple styles to choose from. Really improves the front.

Any mounting plate bracket should fit by drilling matching holes.
Auto part stores would the first place to look or salvage yard.

I had the front plate on my IROC... when I took it off it said camaro undernearth as the other guy mentioned, but it has big screw holes in it so it kinda looks bad n e way. You shuold probaly just invest in a new grille off ebay, i got a great one for like 55 bux and it bolts on in 2 seconds.
