It's hard to beat to new tanks
Finally got a round to replacing both my engine coolant and washer tanks (plus cap), they make the engine bay appear much brighter now! Also re-done my under hood light with the SS hood, works great. Also, how do you guys like that small shovel holding up my hood?
Haven't gotten around to replacing the hood struts yet

i'm in the opposite situation.. no new tanks, no light, but i have super-struts. watch out for those new ones.. they almost fling the hood off the damn car.
imma go buy some new tanks now

thank ya guys, I'm going to probably get a set of "blown" hood struts...because I don't want to apply any added stress to the hood while closing it.
and yes DJP87Z28, I got it installed and it works great, thanks for all the help

kinda what im thinking. get rid of the huge tubs and get something smaller. for a catch can i was thinking of one my uncle has on his 67 maro is one that is small and attaches to the radiator. as for the winsheild washer tub, i got this idea from my beater (87 ford escort
) for a skinny, long tub that i can bolt to the fire wall where my ac use to be.

instead of hood struts
go get a prop rod off of a ranger and you can bolt it to your fender and it will hold your hood up at the hinge thats what i have and it works great
and as far as your bottles go did u get them from the dealer?

that's actually a good ideal, I'll have to look into that. Yes, I got both of the tanks from my local GM dealer

I'm not sure that I like that....I mean..it looks more old school with all the tanks on....all you see is 2 big wheel wells...

Nice i'm about to get soem for my ride. For the struts as much as it hurts to say this, go buy an import tuner type magazine. There are soem wickedly cool ideas some of those guys use for hood props. I saw one guy take 2 coil springs welded to gether and set that at the front of the car to prop it open, there are cool ideas out there. Although who can beat a shovel prop, thats old skool
