Pics of my new TA.
Well, a few teaser pics since I haven't had time to wash and wax it yet from driving it 1000 miles home. But here's some pics. I'll post some more after this weekend's washing..
I've been looking to get another 3rd gen for a while after owning a 25th Anni TA convertible. I actually flew up to Indiana to get a Jamaican yellow one, but it wasn't quite as described. So I had to settle (
) for another of the rare 92 colors.. Quick specs:
92 Jade Green metallic. And yes, pictures do not do the paint
justice.
60,000 miles, 305 Auto
Completely stock when I got it.
I've been concentrating on the engine bay for two weeks. So far:
AIR injection removed, heater control valve removed, TB bypass, all heater hoses routed away from engine and along frame rail, TB mounted K&N, relocated MAP to firewall to clean up the TPI, new coil, cap, rotor, Taylor wires, NGK plugs, Made-for-you centerbolt looms, and just last weekend groundcontrol adjustable springs and KONI yellows all around. It's dropped about 2" now to let me get used to it, and then I'll probably go another 1".
I've got a 93 TA parts car being shipped from Kansas that I'll be snagging the T56 and parts from (All ready have my Spohn torque arm/crossmember ordered) I will be transplanting the 93's gray/tan interior over too! Parts car will also be donating it's disc 3.42 rear, aluminum driveshaft, and BMR adjustable control arms and panhard bar..
Guess that's about it about now. I'll be putting together a website of the car's transformation soon and hope to be a good part of the forum now!
Thanks!

. it looks real good, id drop it a little more if i were you. i like it. maybe black rims, instead of gold.

Graboid et all:
Ground-Control's Website
That's mostly what the rears look like. Threaded rod that goes into the bottom hole in the rear and a shorter spring. To adjust take a little weight off the rear and turn the collar.
Front's are basically the same, but flipped over. On the front the collar is locked on the spring by weight and you turn the threads with a 1/2" ratchet and extension.
The fronts I can basically put into the ground, the rears are close to max low until I remove the rubber isolaters and replace them with heater hose. Spring rates are 750 front and 200 rear.
$480 for all springs and adjusters
$580 for the KONI yellow's through shox.com
Thanks for the complements..
