Pics of my car at the track

Our shop rented the track on Thursday and a buddy got a couple of pics of me so I thought I'd share them.

Weather sucked! 95* and 98% humidity so everyone was slow. My best was a 14.77@97 1.85 60ft.

How much to rent the track? That must have been nice as hell, no waiting in lines

It was something like 800 dollars, up to 8 people, one lane. The pricing is weird. Last year we did it and it was like750 for up to 10 people.......i dunno, the price scale kinda sucks and doesn't make much sense. Only 3 cars other than myself there and they all broke so I had it all to myself most of the day .

60ft times aren't bad, they're better in cooler weather though. They had the track prepped ok, but I still spun pretty good unless I was in the groove. 1.85's thanks to the 3.42's, converter and no front swaybar. It's cut 1.70's at that track in the fall with drag radials. It's getting a set of DR's on welds and skinnies in the spring.

That pic looks like it's close to coming up, but that last little bit more will be so hard to get. You know, so close but yet so far . I can't ask for much, it is only a 305.

There are some more pics and full mod list here:http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/492102/3

97mph? that thing is haulin' on the big end to only run 14.77. 97 is like low 14's normally isn't it?

yup, needs a little more down low. But it's dead consistent which is good since thats my bracket racer when I need money . My red T/A is the race car. Goal for the fall is to pull a wheel with the 305

Minnesota, eh? Isn't that the new term for "any straight road is a drag strip"?
