Ebay Z06 rims polish vs. Chrome

Im interested on bidding on Z06 rims on ebay, just have one question concerning the statement on his ad. On the ad itself it says "New Polished" Z06 rims, but has this pic:

Is that Chrome or Polished?

Chrome rims IMHO, look way too flashy. Polished looks nice, but doesn't blind people looking at your rims.

POLISHED ALL THE WAY. Besides, chrome rims are heavier.

A friend of mine bought some of those polished Z06 wheels off of ebay... I believe from the same sellers as you are looking at. They look good.

that's a funny one because if a wheel is polished the right way it will be as shiney or look just as good as chrome but without the weight issues. chrome is much easier to maintain. if i were to get z06 wheels i'd go chrome since the spokes will be harder to maintain.

pollished wheels are nice, but they are a pain to take care of.

How is the quality? I have 1 hour to bid on em. And a bit worried that even though they are repros, that they are garbage.

well i can tell you just by looking at the picture that if that was the wheel the quality of the polish isn't that great so i can only imagine what it looks like in person.

good luck with it.

this is how polished should look...like a mirror.

those wheels look to have a haze on them either from bad polishing or possibly a clear coat?

one minor question pertaining to offset. You see i've never bought rims are got into rims. The offset is as stated 56mm, Now obviously i should of checked before bidding, but is this far from factory? Like i mentioned before i have a stock 92 camaro front end up front and rear disc brake from a 97 SS. Im assuming the rears should be fine with 295/45/18 tires, while up front 265/40/17 tires and 2" or 2.25 spacers?

Basically what im asking what the hell is offset lol.

they look just like the AFS Z06 wheels I had, they were great for a few days after I would clean them, but then they would turn gray. hopefully they came with a clear coat or something. All those little spokes are a pain to polish and then buff.
