Got a new toy, happy and sad at the same time

My camaro only getting around 5 mpg forced me to get a new car for work. And as happy as I am to have it, the camaro will have to go to the garage for awhile as I cann't afford to pay insurence for both of them.
19 year old male driver + 2 tickets and an accident = over $300 a month insurence on just the new Firebird.

As the camaro might be sitting up to 3 years what all should I do?

Well heres a pic of it tell me what you guys think.

BTW what's a good site for 4th Gens?

oh my *** that's freaking beautiful, how much did it cost you? Check our www.camaroz28.com , I go there often, they talk about firebirds too, www.LS1tech.com (I think) also would deal with the LS1 engine.. oh man.. I want one

Thanks, I got her for $7,950. I wish it was the LS1 but its not it has the 200 Hp 3800 V6 with power everything and every option except T-tops. Whoever had it took great care of it and its nearly perfect inside and out, even smells new It will spin the Cooper Cobras till I let off the gas. Verry good power for a V6.

I didn't even know about the 12 disk cd changer till after I bought it and found it a few hours latter. :lala:

thats sweet man!

Insurance quoted me the same for a 01 bird, $300 a month, and payments of $305. Yah right!

So I got the 92 Camaro, with liability only.

You didn't get the LS1?

The 98+ Firebird/Trans Ams, are the best looking 4th Gen's and you made the right choice getting one for a daily driver......

Well even though it's not an ls1, www.ls1.com is a great site, and there's even a low 12 sec v6 on there

congrats, I'm hoping to have two f-bodies by time I'm 19 but it's not looking too good hehe

no ls1 , but dont worry bud, i got your back . 3800performance. com has pics of a turbo kit that is very close to release for the grand am and regal . They are going to make it work for the gtp , monte carlo and the camaro and firebird v6. Stock hp of the v6 is like 160 to the wheels , this kit make 280 to the wheels.

Sweet looking car man. I love 4th gens as well as 3rd gens, that's why I own one of each.

A good site for fourth gens is MotorSportConnect.com; it's not f-body only but there are quite a few of us 4th-gen owners on there.

Enjoy the new ride, but don't forget about your thirdgen!

I would have loved to get the LS1 but the cheapest one I found was twice what I payed for this one. You guys think I got an allright price?

That turbo kit sounds nice, do you know the price on that?

I really wanted a 2002 Trans Am WS6 and I hope that I can get one in a few years, but I guess I could always do an LS1 swap. But the V6 in here feels like it has more power then the 350 in my Pace car. Thank for all the great links guys

What all should I do to the camaro as it may be setting for a while?
