Finally a small front plate!!!

Here in Norway we have the large plates common all throughout Europe, but a few years ago some small plates were introduced for use on American cars with limited space for plates. However, the authorities (our DMV) in charge of deciding wether or not a car "needs" small plates are usually on a power trip and thus won't give out these plates unless it is "necessary". They blame their restricted policy on that the cameras in the "cameraboxes" (automatic speedtraps placed all over the country) aren't able to get a clear pic of the small plates....bla bla bla bla...

Anyways - I finally, after two years, ran into a guy at the "DMV" that agreed that I needed the smaller plate.

looks bad ***, I like the way those plates looks, american plates are so bleh lol.

Here's a tip though, why don't you put it along the front pass. GFX on the nose, right below the pass. perking light? I think it would look better there.

Ken,

What kind of fine do you get if you don't run a front plate in Norway?

Here in Wisconsin most Cops ingore the lack of a front plate, even though it's illegal. If you do get pulled over for it and have it with you, they just make you put it on an thats, that.

I don't run one and haven't been bothered by the cops.

The small plate does look better than a US plate.

Thanks guys! I like it a lot better with the smaller plate as well.

85VortecTA,
I don't know man - Im more into the "symetric look" so I doubt I'd be crazy about the offset plate Good idea though!

nolanr0413,
Really? I thought it looked awful with the foglights partially covered.

Spectre,
No kidding. Finally they actually have a purpose LOL.

labrat,
You know Im actually not sure - but I believe it is around $200. If you have it sitting in the windshield, you *might* get away with a warning the first time and have to remount it and show it.

if you would put it where I recommended you could see the Camaro or bowtie emblem the plate is covering up.

but it's cool all your prefference.
