i just bought the one from covercraft,
i got the "weathersheild" one, it ran me a little over 200$ and im a little dissapointed,

its suppose to be great for outdoors and rain and all, but the thing is like super super thin, it rained slightly the other night, and its already wet underneath...

they make a weathersheild HD which is suppose to be 40% thicker, might wanna try that one,

it fits awesome, i got the custom fit one and its black
looks awesome

just too thin

i also bought one from coversearch.com like a month ago
the material was INSANE, it was awesome, problem is , it didnt cover my ground effects, so i had to return it, i got it custom fit and told them i had high rise spoiler and ground effects, they sent it to me, i thought the material was awesome, just it didnt fit all the way

if u find something u like, let me know, because i cant find a damn thing ive been looking for months now

I bought an Evolution 4 custom fitted cover 6-7 years ago for my Z from www.classicindustries.com

It is made by Kimberly Clark. It fits perfect, covers the entire car snug..and just plain works.IIRC I paid like $189.

Now I see Covercraft has their own version of the Evolution 4 fabric..I would think it is pretty much the same.

Some info from classic's site..

This Evolution car cover represents the finest on the market in terms of practicality, durability, appearance and value. This is the most rain resistant and breathable car cover on the market. Produced from highly water resistant polypropylene fabric. Each cover is produced using high quality Polypropylene Evolution 4 fabric from Kimberly Clark. A high tech 4 layer fabric, Evolution is lightweight, remains pliable in all weather conditions and won't rot, smell, or mildew. The outside and inside layers are made of long fibers which make the fabric tough but very soft and non abrasive. The middle layer is made of shorter fibers that catch water but allow the air to circulate. Also includes double stitched seams with an elastic band in the front and rear making installation easy! Specially developed for harsh outside weather conditions and will not freeze even in the coldest temperatures. Each cover is water resistant and breathes keeping your paint free from unwanted moisture between the paint and the car cover which could ruin your paint. We have the largest supply of Evolution car covers in the COLORS you want!

I want a cover but don't feel like it's worth 200 bucks. Is this another of those "you get what you pay for" deals?

got mine from wolf...

yes it very much is ya get what ya pay for...

mine was one of the more expensive ones, its ment for indoor and outdoor use, however, outdoor is all it ever sees - hasnt scratched my new paint yet, and it does a decent job of keeping the crap off the car...

its water resistant, so it does let a little water through it, however, its so breathable that anything under neeth the cover evaporates quickly...

i cast my vote for the wolf cover - was about 200 bucks

Anyone got any suggestions on a basically indoor cover? I keep my car in one of those Cover-It garages so it doesn't get rained on or anything like that, but some moisture does condense in there.

I bought mine for 39.99 from Autozone. DON"T DO THAT! you may as well throw your 40 bucks out the freakin window. Rain goes right through it, and from what I can tell, so does dirt. I was uneducated in car cover's and made a spur of the moment purchase. But, oh well, live and learn! This is a PRIME example of getting what you pay for!!!
