Brakes, they are also for apperance!!!

check these bad boys out . I have to give thanks to a few guys for helping out a lot . Ebmiller with many of the measurements and stuff and little questions and vsixtoy for the cad files to make the plates to hold the abutments. This whole project cost less than 580 to do and it turned out great . They looks awesome behind the wheels and they stop the car great . I can now lock the front tires on command b/c it has so much power. They are really a great upgrade over the stockers .I cant :hail: :hail: this mod enough. If your thinkin about doing it go for it. Now i too can give you help with it. Thanks for all the help guys.

i wish i had 14 inch rotors just for the wow factor and the size behind the wheel . Also crazy the brakes didnt clear the rim. I had to use a 5/16 inch spacer to push the wheel out a little more. or you could grind some of the caliper like chevyken had to do . But all in all they rock .

Im interested in doing that upgrade. Was gonna get a Baer kit, but looks as if you've saved half the price they're asking. Did u modify the spindles yourself? Is there a tech article of the process? I dont see it for some reason.

yes i did the spindles myself , i dont know if their is a tech article but o well . It real easy to do , but you need a sawsall and drill bits and a metric tap . Check out my cardomain page , i have most of the process there, but lately it hasnt been workin so i havent uploaded the final pics.

Holy crap Nolan... that looks so good with the matched calipers and huge rotors. This upgrade is on par with the wheels themselves. Get the rears done! :hail:

ahh the rears . I might need some help with those . I want to buy wilwwood rears but the axle cross flange on mine is around 2.5 and if it were 2.36 i could get some wilwood 4 piston 12.19 setup .Its the chrysler rear end thats giving me the problems. Im trying to find some but havent had any luck . The rear end is out of a 1969 3/4 ton dodge or chyrsler van . If anyone has any info or know of a good mopar board post up . I really do want discs in the rear. but if i cant get them the car will be getting 11 inch drums .
