what else is there to say? its been done many times before and it always looks good. LOL go for it but i would get the "real" Zr1 style cuz you get wider rims but thats just me.

i dont think one member has these rims on their car...these just came out not long ago...if they do i am interested in seeing some pics!

in terms of the width, you can only get those in 17x8.. and the other people were referring to the 4th gen offset zr1's that you can get in 17x9.5. I personally have nothing against those wheels, and think they will be an tremendous improvement over the 15x7's, but will look even better if you get that wheel gap down.

If they were the zr-1 size, I would buy them for my Z. I love the color of them.

yeah, i am a huge fan of Zr1 rims. spacers suck but the rims are plentiful. Look on ebay and you will find may examples of Zr1 rims. The fact that they are cheap, like 500 for set of 4! but add some spacers and its not so appealing anymore. But you cant beat the price for looks, performance and availability.

slp wheels are nice. add a pro kit springs and they will look awesome. you got a nice car but those stock rims take away from that. no doubt those rims look good.

I think they'd do wonders in setting off your paint... I can't say that for your current rims

i dont know if its just me...

but i really am not a fan of those wheels ( or that whole style in general). i fell that if im going to spend money on a set of wheels, im ging to make sure they look different than what you would find on most other cars. They just look to "stock" to me

If your car were any other color, I'd say get the black wheels. I'm just not a fan of black on black. Instead of highlighting details, it makes everything blend and you don't notice any details. Just my opinion.....

Also, 255s look like crap on the rear. Trust me, I know.
But ZR1s still look pretty good. Get em if that's what ya want.

i got my set of ZR-1 rims for $300 off ebay. Brand fricken new too. Spacers are gonna run me something like $100 for front and rear (because of the offset that i bought, the rears only need a .5" spacer, so thats only $15)
-BTW, thats a pic the seller had on the auction (they are currently in the mail)

you got a friggan deal!....one thing thats stopping me from getting a real set is the fwd offset...i like how the slp ones sink into the rim more..kinda like how the gta rims are...the lip part makes the car look 100 times better is the stance is just right..i think with either a sportline kit or pro kit springs the car will look bad ***

plus you the hyper black look is the shiznit

i've got the those rims in silver on my car. they look awesome. they totally gave my car a different look. I got em wrapped with 245/45 yokahama es100s and the tread pattern and wheel combo is sick. I also noticed how well it improved the handling. I also put hotckis springs on it at the same time. I've never seen the black ones on a car yet. they'd probably look awesome on your car. When you look at em from an angle they kinda look like the fikse fm5s. I'll try to get some pics of mine up soon so you can get some reference.

i have ZR1 rims on mine they were on there when i bought the car and i love them they are wide, nice looking, and they still keep the performance aspect of these cars. in my opinion i dont see the point to put anything higher than 17-18 inch rims on a thirdgen. they just look out of place when they get too big.

check out my cardomain page for pics

i think he means the wheel offset on real specs arent designed for our cars and need spacers and its hard to get them to "look" right and fit right.

black84z28-4spd,
