LOL that hood has the look of a cheap taped on scoop which is probly what it is. I would mold that together and make it look one piece

That is pwdbychevy's car, I was asking him about it a couple days ago. I think the headlight conversion looks sweet.

That's interesting. It looks like a Camaro with dilated pupils. That is, of course, assuming you think of the headlights as "eyes". Which is, now that I think about it, kinda strange.
I should hope those put out much better light, because the aesthetic value isn't exactly worth it.

interesting.. it looks better with three.. but its still not filling in the space very well.. maybee a custom fabbed fiberglass piece to reshape the headlight buckets? so it looks like it was supposed to be like that

The car looks great, but the headlights look out of place, they dont take enough space I find.

maybe if the one on the outside corner were more of a half oval shape like:
_____

|.......)
|____/ (driver side)
and
.. _____
./........|
(.........|
.\_____| (passenger side)
with the two rounded ones on the inside toward the center of the car.. then i might like it

Its illegal in my state but I think its cool. The only thing that looks off to me is the driving lights (since they are a different shape than the lights used for the conversion). I still dont get why people say it dosnt match with the lines of the car. I could understand if it was sticking out or something like the headlights on a bird, but Camaros have recessed lights. People probably dont even notice the contours of the stock recessed lights.

from the front, 2 dont look all that good
i also dont know why people say it dont fit the lines. thirdgens have curves too and can blend round things in well. especially lights. although the Jongbloed (sp?) hood is round and i dont like it. I think it is too rounded to go with top of the car.
I think they go good with the face of the car. gives it a whole new attitude. LOL
I would do 3 like this...

The 2 round lights are very cool, but the 3 lights looks dumb. Dude 6 headlights??

there are curves to our cars. old muscle cars were boxy yet had round headlamps so the styling fits. WRX is boxy and how big round lamps. LOL

I like it with three lights in there, but it still needs something. I think clear headlight covers would finish it off better, as would a fiberglass housing around all three to make it look as if they came that way from the factory.

exactly, a enclosed housing would be sweet. sorta like the 300zx lights, but with an Angel eye twist to it. LOL

looks to me to just be a couple peices of black plastic fastened over the headlights, similar to black outs, only a flush mounted version with round holes cut out , of course you want the plastic to be non- transparent unline the black outs, im prolly wrong about how they did this but that is what it looks like to me

As said, that's pwrdbychevy's car.
THe hood is a J.C. Whitney, not a "bolted on louver".
The lights are Pilot truck fog lights.
He also has a firebird spoiler on it, and a very cool looking rear shade. (NOT the 80's looking stock louvers)

You guys are killing me!
Well I'm happy TGO is back online. Here's the latest updates. I ripped off that stupid hood scoop and painted the hood hot rod grey until i get the SS hood. I'm making my own set of clear headlight covers and came up with a bracket system to keep them things from flying off. It'll make the headlights look a little better. here are the pics

Those headlights will look alittle different when I add the low beam projectors and make a piece of trim to go around the actual lights.

Hella Custom Headlights. These are just the highs for now. I'm buying the low beam projectors next paycheck.
