its painted. again
as many of you know i painted my camaro about two years ago. i kept it black but i soon found out that black drives me crazy. so i decided to go sunset orange metallic. i went into work yesterday and layed down 4 coats of standox base and 4 coats of PPG clear. i am very pleased with the results. the best part about is that my boss bought all the materials for me. so this paint job cost me nothing
. i should have more pics by the end of the weekend. let me know what you think.
heres the pics:

everyone that has seen the rear bumper cover (with the two tone) has said that it looks awsome and that it really brings out the orange. i promise not to disapoint. it will be worth the wait.
as for the comment about the wheels, i couldn't agree more, but i have to get an engine first. thats going to set me back about 10g.

Hey heavy how much does your shop charge for a really good paint job and assembly of a car. kinda like how yours is set up when u painted it? when i get done with all my body work i need to do, im lookin for a really good shop and not one that kinda puts cars off for about 8 weeks like one did to my brothers 91 z28.

my best guess would be about 5-6grand, maybe more. im not sure. if your really interested i can talk to my boss. if you are doing all the body work it will be cheaper. like i said, ill talk to my boss tomorrow and get you a better estimate.

Hey heavy thanx man, ill be doin pretty much all of the body work. i could even bring the car the way u have yours right now, since it looks like when u do a great paint job alot of stuff comes off. but thats about what i figured about price wise. yeah let me know what your boss says, also would that 5-6k include doin the engine bay if i strip that? basiclly it will look like your car now but black with a custom stripe in candy apple blue.
