Neat sunset pic of my 87... I miss summer... BADLY
Found a cool shot I snapped last summer that I thought was neat so I posted it up. Figured it might help with the January blahs. I'm sick of snow already. Anyways no real point to this thread other than sharing the pic. Enjoy

Beautiful picture man. I miss summer so much also. Your car is sweeeeeettttt. I just look at winter as an opportunity to work on my car w/out rushing. Its the only time I can get bigger mods done. I still am anxious for the weather to break.

Thanks guys! That was quick
Yeah winter is good for getting work done on them thats for sure. I'm pulling into the shop next month for a bunch of stuff.
Thats Toronto Canada in the background. Great city for night life and hot women. Good car scene too but not much of a third gen presence. A lot of exotics and of course import mania
I love roasting all the high priced stuff the best. They always seem so shocked to get their *** handed to them by an Iroc
I love third gens. Whoot!

That looks like a really clean car. Very nice. Do you have any other pictures of it? I would love to get a shot of my car with the NYC skyline at dusk this year. Nice photo.

Thanks again its nice to hear. The most common question I get asked about when I'm on the road is...
"What kind of car is that?"
Sad sad sad.
Of course there is the odd maniac with a mini-van full of kids who darn near run me off the road to get a better look and tell me about the one he used to own back in the day... This one guy in particular almost crashed his van while he was trying to yak to me while driving alongside. Pretty funny when that stuff happens

Thanks very much
Yeah that black Iroc is very sweet. I wanted to paint mine black but decided on a white with a silver pearl instead. Its a very subtle pearl and you can only see it when the light is just right.

Thanks. Yeah man not much of a third gen presence around here... Well at least not any cars that are not destined for the wreckers at least
I will try to get out to some f body events this summer so perhpas you can see it in person. I have been planning a real cool shoot for years but one day will have to put time aside to do it. Its gonna be complicated but the results should be killer.

Its Summer everyday here, life is a Beach.
Trip of a lifetime. 8000 miles and five weeks in total. West coast is next. I haven't been to California in twenty five years. Originally posted by 87roc_t56
Nice ride. Yeah I know its great down there. My parents winter in Florida. I have been there many times and loved it. I really like St Augustine. My kind of place. Good food, easy going, drive onto the beach and fish all weekend. I was there last year. The Carolina's I really dig too. I drove from here down many times. I took A1A from St Aug all the way down to Miami stopping wherever we felt like for as long as we wanted. It took over two weeks between stops and then we drove to Key West just to go all the way. Amazing

87roc_t56, if you don't mind me asking, what kind of wheels are those? I think someone mentioned Borbets earlier, I don't think I've heard of that company.
I'd also love a full-size pic if you don't mind e-mailing it to me, Jones3451@charter.net .

I can't wait till the snow clears so I can go cruising again. By the way, your supposed to run your car atleast once a month right, if your storing it?

Im actually rediculously close to 87, my dads house is in the same town and moms house is just up in markham so like 15 extra minutes (well 7 in the camaro
) also theres a member on this board i think his name is Steve383 me and him are buddies and hes currently in the process of buying a gta that is most likely going to be a bit of a fixer upper. Regardless we should definitly all get together and ogle at each others cars. Last edited by 19doug90; Jan 20, 2005 at 07:43 PM.

Nope. Just let it sit so that it only has one oil starved start-up and not a bunch. There is nothing wrong with letting an engine sit over winter.

As far as you local guys looking to meet up there are plenty of cool events through TFBM each year. I have not yet joined but plan on attending some events this year ( Cayuga perhaps? ) so watch out for threads in the Southern Ontario board once the season begins and hopefully we can all get out to some together. If not just post up where you guys are going to meet up and if i can I'll go.
