The problem is I have a white car, with a white engine bay. So that limits the colors that would match the car. So far I've narrowed it down to White, Black, Silver, or a Natural aluminum finish.
I can't go with anything bright like yellow, it would look like ***.
So far I'm leaning towards black with polished fuel rails, and polished ridges.
So damn confusing. With my TPI I went for natural aluminum. And I love the way it looks.

We all know what it looks like in its natual finish.
This is what sits under the hood now.

I powdercoated mine black and polished the fins and fuel rails and I think it looks pretty good. But then again, I have a black engine bay.

Gold would be a little to bling bling. Mayby if I use a gold accent somewhere on the intake. But gold as a base color for the intake would not look good.

I would go with the white, as you have a white engine bay. It will break it up very well. Plus if you polish the fuel rails it will look even better. I think that the white would look great if you detail you r engine also, white just looks real nice w/ polixhed stuff. But so does black. My car is white, and I wish now that I would have painted my Mini-Ram white, it would look soooooo nice.

Man, the whole reason for painting it is for looks.....That means he wants it to look good, which in my mind means he will clean it often, no matter the color. Sure it might show more crap, but if it's painted and cleared, then it should clean up easy enough. All the real nice looking engines I have seen are in a lighter color, it would just look real nice, Heck, now that I think of it, I'm gonna have my mini-ram powdercoated white when I do the cam swap in the next month or two. And when it's all done I'll post some pics, of the entire engine.....You will see how nice it looks.

I give ya 3-4month of it being white before Your pissed you didn't do a easier color to keep clean.
If you powedercoating it. Make sure to use a Clear. On that not Don't use some cheap Eastwood clear that turns yellow. Or now Your gonna have a golden/yellowish white intake.
Yellow is as light of a color I would go.

I was leaning more towards black. But the pics of Johns website of the white intake look pretty good. So I figured I'd put it out there.
Chances are I would have ignored you all and painted it black. I'm not powdercoating it, too much $$$. I can do it decently for about $20 in materials if i paint it.

yeah to me too much black and white is too bland- if done right it will look clean and nice- but for my own tastes i need somthing to break it up- just to throw a little flavor in.

I'd suggest Black, block color (if other than black), or black w/ body colored fins on top.
