My Silver BMR 3pt. STB
I wanted something a little different than the normal red, plus the BMR red is a little orange IMHO.
The picture doesn't do it justice, but it matches the paint on the delete pulleys and the wire looms.
I originally was a little hesitant since I think it obstructs the view of the beautiful TPI, but it works so amazingly well, I'd never get rid of it. It got rid of 90% of the squeaks, and it feels tighter in the turns, although it's hard to really tell how much is in my head. No doubt it got rid of a TON of squeaks and rattles.

very pretty. how much was it? think it'd fit on a tbi car? that'd be cool if it did b/c it looks much better than the edelbrock one imho.

Looks great!
I've been in the market for one but cant find a 3pt for a carb'd motor that I like. Please let me also know if that fits TBI and carb'd motors.
Thanks

I'm about 95% sure it does NOT fit carbed/TBI motors. The edelbrock 3pt. brace looks pretty cool IMHO, for carbed/TBI motors.
It was easy to install. Took about 45 minutes. The only pain was drilling the cowl since the hood prevented the drill from being straight up and down. I had to go in on an angle, and had to start with a small bit to get a pilot hole, and then used the actual size bit. I did it by myself with some clamps, but an extra set of hands would've been nice.
But yeah, it was easy.
I got a deal through a "friend"
but I think the red one is about $135, with mine being $10 extra for custom color powdercoat.

after looking at a few engine bay pics of my tbi and comparing to his tpi, i'm pretty sure that that stb wont fit in a carb/ tbi application. Unless you have some really low profile or weird air cleaner assembly. I'm afraid we're stuck with the edelbrock one. oh well, its not that bad.
And btw, i think it looks much nicer that color than it would have looked red, you would have had too much red in your engine bay if that was red too, this contrasts the red and brings it out more IMHO.

Thanks for the compliments.
The BMR red springs that my buddy has were very orangy in color, and wouldn't have matched at all. Plus like you said, too much red. You really cant tell from the pic, but it's a vibrant silver that matches the other silver really well. I think it almost looks white in the pic though.

i talked with the BMR sales rep at PRI for about 30 mins last december. they are GREAT guys! i would love to work with them someday. i did ask them about the stb working on tbi/carb cars, unfortunately, they will not clear the cleaner. only work on TPI cars. probably wouldn't even work with the HSR.
