i saw 3 of them on my down to Who-ville today.

but seriously, it looks ok from the front...but ither then that its...odd.

 

Says fiberglass front (instead of stock sheetmetal). It's a drag car so it's completely understandable both from a cooling and cost standpoint. It's just a chassis.

 

car looks done-up well though....I'd take it!

its fast...different....maybe it wouldnt be so bad if it had like an 89trans am rear on it...I just dont like the older ones too much..

Yea '85-'90 rear tails and that thing would be cool. It's awesome though....

 

That car looks pretty sweet from the front. However I do not like the back. Looks like it was done really good. I like the way it sits too with the 15" welds and the cowl hood. Anybody know what type of hood that might be? Also I know this has been done 1000 times but im thinking of running the same rims and I was wondering what backspacing to use? I like how his don't stick out of the wheel wells. I wan to do the 15x11 in rear and the 15x4's in front.

after looking at the car, i am positive he mini-tubbed the rearend to get those huge meats under it. car is the best trans-maro i have ever seen.

 

It would look even better if they put the stock front end back on.

 

If I had the cash to toss & if everything seemed kosher.

Then I would pick it up. It is getting harder & harder to find ideas to set you apart from the crowd.

Its like going to the movies and seeing your cousin on a date, with your other cousin.

 

It's a 'functional' car that's not a 'show' car. It just looks taken care of. He doesn't seem to care that it doesn't have a trans am front end because he races it and doesn't show it because it's a race car and not a show car since it's a race car. Race car.

You know what would look badass, taking some delorean grid tailights and fabbing them to fir the rear of this trans-maro!!!!
