Just got my baby painted with the original color, where can i find new emblems?

I originally only had 3 emblems of the "Screaming Chicken" on the nose (not hood) and two on each side between the hatch and side windows (sail panels)? Anyone know where i could find some good replacement emblems besides the dealer? I've checked the auto accessory stores and auto parts stores with no luck. Thanks.

Try www.phoenixgraphix.com for your decals. They have the exact kit you need for pretty cheap. Their quality is top notch and their service is great. That's were I got all my new graphics.

I dont know the paddocks number either, but thier web address is www.thepaddock.com, you can order a free catalog. If it has to do with restoring a 3rd gen, they have it.

Thanks Velocity but I just purchased the decals i need from www.pheonixgrafix.com. But i also have been trying to located the wheel caps for my factory 15" rims with the 5 slots at 5 different angles. But i would like to check out that address you mentioned. Are you sure that's the right address though? I just clicked on a couple of links and it took me to some pages referring to some Horse associations or something. Thanks.

Velociy - no problem and thanks. I ordered the free catalog.

Brad - I know it sucks. When I look into other part catalogs and magazines, they only seem to have interest in either Chevy or Ford. I rarely find stuff for Firebirds/Formulas/TA's.

Thanks all, I just received my $40 emblems now lets see if i can put them on properly. (i normally have trouble with things at my first attempt).

Sorry I didn't see this earlier- Ames Performance Engineering just deals with Pontaics. They cover the classic GTO's, Lemans, Grand Prix's, and 1st/2nd/3rd generations of Firebird/Trans Am's.

The website's http://www.amesperf.com ... I got a free catalog from them a while ago, hopefully it's still free.

Oh if you're wondering about that monkey all over the place, just look at the initials of the joint- A.P.E. - that threw me for a few years.

Don't go to a dealership, they'll rip you off big time.

maybe i phrased that wrong. I meant i can get deals at the chevy/olds dealer. I can't order pontiac parts there. I asked if he could and he told me that i'd have to go down the street to the pontiac dealer.

I recieved them with in about 3 or so days. I ordered them after someone told me about the Pheonixgrafix website. It cost me around 39.00 + $7 shipping which i thought was a bit much since i recieved the 3 decals in a small cardboard envelope. I thought what the heck, i got what i wanted. They give you the instuctions on how to put them on, the 3 bird decals (all the same size), and a squegee. It's simple to put them on. You can either put them on the dry or wet way. I found the wet way easier (which is what the instructions tell you to do). They look good to me. I'll see if i can take a picture and and post it sometime soon. I didn't run into any problems. All in all Im happy .
