Here's my project from the past few years (been busy w/ work and college, so it took a while), started out as a half painted 85 coupe that had a wrecked front clip. I added ground effects (it already had the z28 hood when i got the car), got rid of the antenna hole, did some minor body work, overhauled the interior from tan to black, tinted it, and went with some new stuff like door handles, lock cylinders, blinker lenses, etc. etc. This is the first car I've ever refinished, much knowledge gained from this site and a little reading. I know it's not perfect, but I didn't expect it to be. Anyways, I've still got some things to do, like install the black seatbelts I just got, redo the headliner/sunvisors, wetsand/buff the car again, paint and repair ttops, get some gridded tailights, replace weatherstripping, install lowering springs in the front, run the battery to the back and install amp and subs. I've also got a 9 bolt rear w/ PBR and 3.27's sitting in the garage, but i think it would make sense to swap out the LG4 first. That is if I am satisfied with how the paint is holding up. As for the paint job, I had intended to get a MAACO job, but they couldn't give me straight answers on the price. So I called around and came across a shop that actually let me finish prepping the car in the shop, and they let me paint it myself in their booth. Let me know what you guys think.

yeah, i know, it looks bad the way the front end seems so high. i've got the springs and that will be done soon. i think i'm gonna pass on rims for now and opt for a 350 being the next major investment. i need some go, to replace to lg4. but if i came across a decent set of 17"s for a good price i would consider it.
