Tree sap removal...
Yes, I actually did do a search on this, which is why I'm posting this.. I found alot of responses on getting sap off, but alot were pretty either contradictory or totally different... So, between clay bars, WD40, bug/tar removal, what's the besT?
there is no "best" as it depends on too many factors. bug/tar isn't bad but it's potent stuff that can eat away the best clear if not used correctly. i'd try using a clay bar first, if that didn't work i'd try the bug/tar or diluted goo-gone. the clay bar should take care of it though.

Although I'm not sure how good it is for the paint, it deffinately works good on glass: rubbing alchohol. It just dissolves sap right away.

I use castrol super clean. It doesn't really matter what you use as long as it works and doesnt' eat the paint. You will have to wax any spot you are removing sap from. No matter what your using it's removing your wax with the sap.

All right.. It's reall warm out todau, 85 or so, so I'll try the water first.. I've got some superclean.. If that doesnt work, I'll pick up a clar bar to use.. What kind of lubricant is needed? I read you need detailing spray, or something like that?
