I can see a large difference. It looks like he just did a rough sand, No where near actually "polishing" it. Polishing takes time, I say go for it.

I wouldn't have chose the LT1 intake to begin with, but thats just me. I have one and I hate it on a daily basis

If he does it right there will be a huge difference when he's done. Polished stuff looks a million times better! Hope your planning on Zoop sealing that bitch I would hate to polish that thing all the time. Keep it up!

I do all my polishing while watching TV. Trash bag on the floor, hand rags and Mothers Ultimate. Choose a spot and go at it, dont even need to watch the metal. Switch up the spots at commercials.

Lol crazy good idea but ide still make a mess. I could see you having your intake on your night stand waking up and polishing it.

It's getting there, but you've still got a LONG way to go. I've found that it takes about 1/3 as long to get to the stage you're at as it does to get to an acceptable finish.

But, this is what you get when you're done:

Wow that looks great. Did you coat the intake with a product like zoops to retain the un tarnished look after you run the car?
