Oh great, just what we need. Another black car.
Just kidding!! Looks good.
You'll have to wait for a Camaro owner to let you know about your question though

I'm definitely in the minority saying this but I think it looks kinda awesome without the spoiler at all
but the high-rise does look great

Looks nice, very nice. I love that hood, is it functional?
I think if you got the Grille that says "CAMARO" and has the fog light openings it would make that car look 10x better, I just can't stand the RS grille.
But other than that, it looks very nice indeed.

even though you have the RS grill MikeDirntRulez? lol just giving you crap. Very nice camaro by the way it would look way better with one of the diffrent grills (one with the bow tie or one that says camaro) and with that spoiler on it would look amazing.

Ya, i agree. I hate this grill. I have to figure out the correct way to mount the spoiler. The car looked sick when I just sat the spoiler on the back. Right now im fiberglassing my welds on the wheel wells. Can't wait to get the interior back in too!

I've always kind of liked that color.. very nice.
The A&A hi-hise I bought many moons back came with some 'tape down tabs'.
Basicallym they were little 'winged' inserts (pic'd below) you stuck in the bolt holes, lined the wing of choice on the decklid, taped down the 'wings', pulled said wing off the tabs and drilled a pilot hole through the center of them (pilot hole was already in the plastic.
After the pilot hole, fire it up to the correct size for the bolt (¼-20 was what mine had) and to it to it.
On nice new paint, it's good practice to put 1-2 layers of tape down before powering through... reduces the chance of taking out a big chip of paint while drilling. Stepping the hole size slowly is also another good way of reducing f-n the paint up.
Just me's opinion though..
Other method... drawing outlines (grease pencil) on the car and taking a few measurements

wow , i like it , just needs a little work and it will be awesome , some new rims , im thinkin the slp rims , the 17s . that looks like ss rims . Their only 599 for rims, and then clear corners and then get rid of the rs grill and get rid of the front plate . I know your in ny but get rid of it . Mount it some place else but a grill with the bowtie would look great , great start just a few little things and it will be awesome .

I want to trash this grille so bad, but i've been so lazy to look through junkyards, and I think $60 shipped from eBay is too expensive, even brand new.
I'd rather just wait until someone on here has one for a good price or I get lucky in a JY.

I put the spoiler on today. I took pictures when I was done but unfortunately, it got dark. Only difficulties I ran into were bolt hole alighnment issues. I had to make some holes oblong(like an oval). Other than that, it went great.

Thank's for the nice comments so far. My mistake! I posted on an old CRT monitor at work and the car definitely looks black. In the second to last picture I can just make out a green tint on the fender now. Awesome color.

Seats are definitely going. I just received my black ABS plastic headliner, black sails, black carpet/vinyl door panels, and black visors from Hawks. I also got a molded black carpet I bought a year ago. So my plans are to reupholster stock seats with the black vinyl kit that Classic Industries sells.
If you're wondering what motor I'm swapping in, check this link:
https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=305733
I never realized I’d come to the point with this car where I’d be annoyed that a dull light makes it look ugly... Reasoning being each 1/4 panel was missing the entire lip, there were dents everywhere, wheel wells were totally rotted out, fender had rust holes in it, metal underneath side molding was beginning to rot, and the floor pans were a nightmare.
I patched/welded up the floor pans and wheel wells, shaved the door handles and antenna hole, welded up the stock rear deck lip for installation of the high-rise, and went POR15 crazy!
Got clear side markers and new turn/driving lights off eBay yesterday as well as a new front emblem from Classic Industries. As soon as my vortec Holley Stealth Ram get here (Ordered a month ago!!!!), the motor is going in. I can't wait to get these tasks done. Thanks for the paint comments.
BTW, what has everyone here done for insulation/sound deadener for under the carpet?
For all of you that want better pictures of the car with the high-rise, I'm going out right now with the Camaro.
