Well I think lowering it will help with the apperance a lot. Your wheels look nice, but you could polish them if you wanted. A lot of people will probably tell you clear side markers, but I think that the yellow ones look great with that color paint. Oh, and I would def. get the windows tinted!
And don't bother getting a 91-92 blistered hood, I think the iroc hood looks fine on your car!

I'd start off with basic things, polish the tailights, clear markers, get the gfx matched up, and paint those mirrors red. He doesnt need to buy a blistered hood, just the blisters themselves as they bolt right up to the iroc hoods.

thanks for the replies guys. as far as the hood goes its still up in the air. the side markers im unsure of too kinda like clear but the orange also goes nice. the tail lights are polished and shine really nice they just dont show up will in that pic. this winter im definatly polishing the rims. i dis another set of irocs i had and they turned out awsome so im definatly doing these. i dont plan to put the rest of the 91-2 gfx on, i think the little scoops on the side gfx are a lil over kill. the scoops on the front are just enough for me. the mirrors are staying black, that was one of the things i had my heart set on when the car was repainted. i think with the black of the ttops, louvers, and head light pockets the mirrors blend in. also next week im gettin the wondows tinted.

tmost had body colored mirrors. some of the earlier base model ones had black mirrors. my car had red mirrors, i just think the black ones look nice on it.

Maybe its because I own a bird, but I like the way it is right now. I dont like any custom hoods on the 3rd gens, unless it came stock (like putting a powerbuldge on a base firebird or an iroc hood on an RS), and I LOVE those black mirrors, I didnt realize how good that looked on the car.

I think your car looks clean. You dont need the newer side skirts, I had the same idea about the newer front gfx just havent got to it yet. If you want the ss hood gor for it. It gives the car a meaner look coming down the road.
Looks good just the way it is dude, lower it and be done with it. Of course, you could either polish those rims or get some aftermarket ones but I'd be happy with that. Cool ride
PS. I dig the mirrors

its got the old style iroc rims on it too..?
lower it a bit for a more agressive stance and if you can't afford rims for a while, polish the ones you have (I did to mine). It looks like you exhaust isn't stock either but I'd put on some chrome tips (unless yours already are, then polish them up to give them a nice shine.) Give the car a nice cut polish to give it one heck of a shine.. even wet sand it if you have to.
thats where I'd start...
then mabey complete the 91-92 transformation by changing out the side pieces to the newer style, high rise wing, and hood blisters.. in my opinion it'd look great.

i put the older style irocs on because i like those better than the double line ones. the exhuast isnt stock, its an slp loudmouth(really loud) and its got polished stainless tops. for completing the groun effects, im not gonna thats what i wanted just the front part. i have a set of hood blisters but i donno if i wanna put em on or not. and when i bought the car it had a high rise on it.if the high rise was put on properly i would have left it too, but the last owner put it on and left the factory three piece on too. looked really bad. ive done alot to the car already, it had red interior when i bought it and 15 inch z28 rims on it. its come a long way since i first picked it up, and looking back i would do it all over again just because its been so much fun doing everything to it. i really enjoy the car. heres a pic of it the day i brought it home.

I would leave it exactly as it is. (With new center caps)
Everyone always calls for bling bling wheels/lower to the dirt/etc blah blah blah.
I like the 91/92 front gfx with the 85-90 setup, it looks really clean.
The black mirrors work well with the black accents without being tacky.
I would stick with the louvers over the blisters if it was me.
Looks great!

the car has come a very long way since i first got it. the bra was one of the first things to go along with the high rise. in april i painted the car and it really made it look alot better. i fixed all the dings and dents and shaved the antenna. the only thing i wish i did was to shave the pass side lock cylinder. i never use it so it serves no purpose. thanx again for the compliments guys. o yea i kno i need center caps but they r like 50 bucks a piece, ill wait for christmas. i donno which ones i wanna get either, i was thinkin the black ones that say iroc-z in red.

the color is the factory gm bright red. the interior was pretty simple to do. just take everything out and replace it with all the new stuff. wasnt expensive for me either. i got a complete black interior from my parts guy for 70 bucks. the only thing missing were the front seat which i already had. i have the two tone black/grey 4th gen seats. i did do the headliner myself and it was a lil challenging but not to bad. the corners around the t tops were the hardest.

You've got a sweet car there. I suppose lowering it would help a bit. But I would keep the IROC hood. That's like a trademark look, can't beat that. And I think the amber side markers look better with red paint. Over all, lookin good.
Oh and paint those mirrors, they're kinda creepy like that.

it looks pretty clean how it is....but I'm one of those guys that don't really miss match pieces. I say go straight 91-92 style, 85-90 style or 82-84 style....it just doesn't really add up when the pieces are miss-matched. But it looks clean and if you like, that's all that matters.
It would look better if you had a lower stance to it...and a bigger set of wheels. Just depends what style your going for
And whoever asked about the SS hood....mine fit fine, no cutting or shaving of any kind...just bolted right on. The fiberglass is a little "wavey" in a few area's...so some minor body work may be required. BTW, ASCD is the only company that makes this hood....there are quit a few companies that carry the hood though.
