Finally got something done to my car...window tint! You guys were right, it looks like 10x better with the windows tinted. I got 32% on the sides, and 22% on the back. Its pretty easy to see through if your up close but still looks dark from certain angles and in pictures.

Went to inspect it myself today and realized that theres a small section thats not sticking at like the top of the hatch. Luckily i have to bring it back within 3-5 days so they can check it and give me the warantee, so then i guess they can check that out and see what needs to be done. Right now i have it taped down so that it doesnt like peel off the entire hatch, haha.

Looks nice, it makes a big difference and you will notice less wear on your interior. I personally like and have 5% all the way around but whatever you like. Thanks for sharing.

Actually, while the first pic is on my cardomain account, its not visible on the site, therefore i didnt care if it had the license plate #. The 2nd pic however is on the actual car domain site and i dont want just anyone to see it. I dont care if fellow TGO members see it though, just not the whole internet.

I did check that part i taped earlier today and its still kinda peeling around where the tape is. I mean you would never know from the outside, but if you open the hatch or crawl into the back of the car you can tell. I just hope the Tint place wont give me any problems about it (lifetime warantee on materials and workmanship so there shouldnt be a problem). Im actually gonna have my mom bring it in on tuesday instead of waiting until next saturday. Im a perfectionist and i need that fixed!!!!

Yea supposedly in PA legal limit is 70%, however i found a website that shows the individual statutes in PA laws which basically just specifies that as long as one can see through the windows, its legal. (http://www.berksweb.com/users/dmv/tint/). Apparently police say anything less than 70% is illegal, but since the law says otherwise, you can go as dark as you want as long as you can see through.

And my mom took my car in to get it inspected and they fixed the peeling that was happening. So its all good now!! $165 + tax including a lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship.

Thanks man... I'm limited as far as funds with what i can do to my car, but i try to make every little thing count. Right now i'm focusing hard on 'investments' that will make my car last really long (such as an undercoating and a california cover for winter)...so i'm trying to balance the pro-actic life extending mods with the 'leisure' mods. The next things i WANT to get done are an undercoating and a catback.

And yes, we really do need to put together a heritage cruise!!
