got the new fogs in..

well it took me about three to four hours to get it completely done. but i bought those blazer foglights from walmart and mounted them behind a mesh grill behind the iroc grill. looks great in my opinion ive been wanted to do this for a while. the lights are so much brighter than the originals but i still have to adjust them. are there any tricks to adjusting them? here are some pics...

first one is just a mock up.

That looks pretty good, and could pass for stock. How did you mount them?

"How did you mount them?"

when i took out the old fog lights there were three holes but the middle one was not used i just drilled out the middle one to make it bigger and mounted the foglights there. these fogs only have one screw which mounts them and adjusts them. then i spliced into the stock wiring, mounted the mesh, and put the grill back in. it took me so long b/c i had to run to the store to get wire connectors then i went to home depot and got the mesh. so it really wasnt that hard. mounting the mesh was the most time consuming b/c i had to cut it out of the sheet and i wanted to get it secured well and keep it as straight as possible.

i think there is a pic of how far back they sit on my cardomain page if you want to see. ill try and get a picture from below so you can really tell. the only thing ive ran into is that when i adjusted them the lights were not even tight b/c of having to loosen it so much and i still could have gone lower.

i like the lift setup, how tall is it and who makes it? also the new fogs look sweet, i'm not sure how I feel about the mesh grill in front of them though.

I'm jealous... I want a lift!! I would move my tools too

Great looking lights.. I am looking for replacement bulbs for my foglights to make them a bit brighter.. perhaps I'll have to replace the entire assembly like you have.

to all who are interested in the lift my grandfather sells them so if you want one pm me and i will give you his name and #. i love having the lift it makes everything so much easier. and we double stack cars on it too so it saves alot of space. and with our 7 cars and a boat we need all we can get. this lift is top quality stuff it is the best at all the shows i have been to. its not like that chinese stuff everyone is selling now.

thanks for the compliments on the lights guys i really appreciate it.

Brisk- i think you can get silverstar replacement bulbs for the fogs. i replaced the lights in my stock fogs with sylvania lights and these new fog lights are 2x as bright.

91blue_fire- yes i mounted mine b4 the black grill all the way back that was the look i was going for but the stock fog lights sit in the black grill that says camaro.
