Finally! Kody's $400 berlinetta!

Kody waiting on the previous owner to show up to buy the car:

where it sat for 9+ years, it had 1996 tags on it.

we had to do alot of work to it to get it to work. it had 150k on it and the interior is in immaculate shape, doesn't even look like it's been sat in. it needs alot more work and will recieve a paint job when money looks better.

here it is with my car: funny thing is, mine doesn't have a motor in it and is the same ride height as Kody's.

nope, it's a buddy of mine's. i was going to buy it for a daily driver/beater (it's a pos) but i couldn't justify buying a mustang when i need to get my camaro back on the road...besides, i'd much rather find a v6/5sp/t-top sportcoupe or berlinetta for a daily driver.

maybe...it all depends on how deep Kody's pockets are. i'm building the car, but he's funding the project. we certainly have bigger fish to fry right now than grid taillights though. while the 305 is working right now, it makes funny noises...and the compression test we ran on it shows that all the rings are shot. i'd like to do an LTx swap on it. i'm using it as a daily driver right now while i get my car done. works out as a pretty good deal, i work on the car, he lets me use it everyday.

sean, i'll talk to you later about that, i may be interested.

the car didn't drive at all when we picked it up with my church van and a uhaul trailer.

the fuel lines where completely gunked up, could not pull fuel through them.

there is NO rust on the body ANYWHERE!!!! YES!!!!

the fox is a droptop 5.0. sell it for $1500 and it comes with a fresh 306 shortblock that is ready to install.

UPDATE!!!
new 305 is in thanks to ssean92! thank you so much bro! motor is a 305 roller motor with an lt1 cam, slightly worked 416 heads, a street dominator intake and an edelbrock carb. staying auto for now and also staying with the stock converter till we get the thing rebuilt, then a mild 2000 stall converter will go in. 3.23's fill the rear.

interior is still in progress, but i'll get pics up of that later.

car got painted by Jeremy_W from here on the boards and a buddy of mine from highschool. he painted my car and now he's done it again with painting Kody's...absolutely amazing.

i get the car back tonight and i'll be finishing up the tune on the car and hopefully taking it to it's owner sometime tomorrow!!!

about $1400 in paint, only about $200 in the motor, and probably about $1000 in the rest of the car...so...$2600 total?

we are actually currently working on getting the 15x7 z28 wheels polished up...yep, stripped them with a bead blaster and are wetsanding/polishing them. should look pretty sweet. also going to a smaller 235/60/15 tire out back instead of the monstrous 275/60/15's, which are actually for my personal car.
