What model of Camaro is this?
Hello,
Someone if offering me to trade is 1985 Chevrolet Camaro V6 for my 88 GTA + 3000$.
His car seem pretty clean so I may say yes since I can't afford the GTA for much mire longer... Is this a Berlinetta or a Sport Coupe? Do you think it has been repainted? Any comments would be appreciated, you can see pics here:

Yes the yellow Firebird was me...
It's still not sure that I will trade it with him, but I need the cash... My girlfriend haven't worked for a while and for a couple of years I'm only staying alive to eat and sleep... I can't take it anymore With some cash I could pay off some things and everything would be better after except for the fact I wouldn't have a GTA anymore... But at least I would still have a nice little thirdgen, even if it's a V6.

I don't like them as much as my GTA but at least I would have a clean one and some cash to pay off some loan.

Back in the old days with those cars were new it was common to see them with black mirrors. Those are Z28 wheels, the odd 88 IROC 15x7's have a different center cap and are 'all paint', no aluminum showing (I have a set). Nothing wrong with an SC

N/M - look at the side view photo , the hatch has a bubble 3rd brake light on the top of the rear hatch . That is a 1986 , not a 85 .

Yeah you are right, the owner tought it was a 85 but when I told him about the top light he said it was a 86. So this car look all original then. Good

The deal fall trough... Well, to tell you the truth I don't know if I really want to sell my car.
Right now I work only to stay alive it seems... But, man, it's a GTA!
I have to keep working hard until august 2008 when my loan for the GTA clear.
Than I'll have some cash to spend!
So far........... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

82 & 83 berlies had the standard style dash. 84-86 had the *Star Wars* Dash.
Maybe yours was a pre 84?

pop the hood look for over spray if you cant find any like on the fender bolts run your finger on the inside lip of the fender under the hodd it should be pretty smooth if it is all rough and you fell little paint spots all down it. them most likely it has been repainted. this is important especialy when buying a salvage car because if it has been repainted then it most likely has been in a wreck.

i would love a set of prostars...however, i can't hardly afford the rest of the car right now, so prostars are out of the question. i'm using these wheels right now, but i wanna do another color than the black....my father has these same wheels in gold on his black z28 and i really liked the way they looked like on my car when i tried them on...so i may redo them in gold.

the only way i would do the gold is if i did it JUST like the factory did, with polished lips and the black center.
