Fitment around the lights looks pretty bad IMO, And it also looks like your painter had a hard time matching colors, there isn't enough pearl on the hood.

The body paint looks more gold (the pearl).

i still have to do some fitting. The painter had a hell of a time trying to match the car. The color is artic white and of course blue pearl. It really looks good in person.

If a proper fitment and color matching are "stupid shyt" to you, please never ever post a pic of your car. Please.

The rest of his car looks good, but its (hopefully) obvious that there is still work to be done.

All I know is people have been requesting this hood for the Bird for awhile now. And he is just posting up a teaser pic to show you hawks will have them.

I'm sure in another couple of days teh negativity in this post will be gone and the people who were actually asking for the product will chime in and throw a party.

Once you get the hood fit and some daylight, let see some more pics mang

And yet again, Bruce at HTG gives us another product for our cars... what a great guy!

I think with a little adjustment, the hood will look killer. Any plans on cutting out the middle or painting it to offset it?

Sweet none-the-less.

I agree with some tweaks that hood will be killer i love it on the camaros theres no reason not to like it on the birds.

Gotta see some nice whole shots with it then id judge.

For now it doesnt look bad but could look even better.

Very cool though

it is just too tall, and doesn't work for ram air. should have made it like the camaro hood

once again, i'm not BASHING the hood. it looks cool and will look even better when it's done. all i'm saying is that i hope he held onto the GTA hood b/c it's a GTA, a special edition bird. and without the hood it isn't gonna be worth jack crap

They've been available for a while. You haven't seen many pics of them because not many bird owners like them enough to purchase them.

Maybe its just me but that hood looks better on a camaro than a bird. I think cowl hoods look out of place on a bird, if youre gonna get rid of the gta hood atleast get a ram air hood. Just my opinion

Holy crap, how do you type? Do you mash your keyboard repeatedly with a brick while doing a jungle yell or something? I'm sorry I offended you O great one. You can see a wheel, fender, part of a door and an unfinished hood. Yeah, I can definatley tell that its a "nice" car. It probably is, but who knows from the pic posted. That wasn't the point. He was trying to show us the hood. Which he did. Not my cup of tea, and apparently its not the favorite of some other people as well. I didn't come out and say "HOLY CRAP THATS TERRIBLE" did I? No, I just said he needed to work on the fitment and color matching. You decided to jump all over me and accuse me of bashing him and making smart *** remarks. OK, I admit, I did make smart *** remarks, but those were directed at you Mr. Internet Male.

That was hilarious!

Seriously though, I don't see how some people can be so judgemental.

All I know is people have been requesting this hood for the Bird for awhile now. And he is just posting up a teaser pic to show you hawks will have them.
I think you've made more sense to me than anyone so far.

Better take that hood off, stick to "safe" mods like TT2's, chrome tips, and window tint! "Please tell me you still have the stock gta hood" Gimmie a break, I think it looks good if only Because it's different.

What's keeping the hood from dropping down that extra 1/2" or so in the front? Hood latch needs to be loosened up and moved down? Plastic "snubber" adjustments twisted down? Please take the five or ten minutes to adjust them properly and then paint the "inlet" black just to please the waxers in here, otherwise lookin good

it needs something on the intake part so it looks like its functional...like some black mesh or something and it will be sweet

the only thing I never liked about that hood for birds since I first saw it was that there is no grille for the 'inlet'....it makes the whole scoop seem obsolete....it does seem to be a big big too (not as lowprofile as the camaro ss)...nonetheless I cant say much about it being the wrong hood for the wrong car because....well Im doing the same thing .....try to do something with the 'inlet' though, it'll make it look 100 times better
