My local shop is charging me $950.00 for 2 new front fenders and new front bumper and labor and paint. Is that a good price? My current color on the car is Teal green. I want to paint it electric or midnight blue but dont know the paint codes can anyone tell me the codes for either color and PLEASE if u have the color in your third gen camaro please post a pic so i can see the color. I have the indigo blue metallic (kind on the 98 chevy trucks). I like it, but it's hard to keep clean. If you want the color codes, go to an auto paint supply store and they'll have books you can look through to find the color you want, they can even mix you up a spray can for about $8 so you can test it and see if you like it before you spend $100 on paint. When I got mine painted this fall the fenders were $150 each and I've heard the bumpers are around $300 (contact http://www.tacreationsusa.com they have conversion kits and they might sell just the aftermarket bumper cover). Both come ready to paint so there should be little or no prep work. If you want to save money get the parts and put them on yourself then take it in to get painted, it's not too hard to do. Also, if you're gonna paint the car a new color you might want to save up and do it all at once, this will save prep work later on and the car will match better if it's all shot at once. And do as much prep as you can, saved me over $1000. Good luck with it!

I was curious too so I emailed them about the price of the aftermarket one and used ones if they sell them too. I'll let you know as soon as I hear from them.

$140 for a new aftermarket front bumper cover, so that's $440 in parts, figure $100 for paint max. so there's a possibility of saving $400 there by installing the parts yourself.

make sure those fenders are factory originals, from what I've heard the aftermarket ones are prety much worthless, the guy that painted mine said that he wouldn't even put them on the car if I had gotten them cause tehy just don't look quite right.

make sure they are the right fenders for your car.. i've been going through hell trying to find the right fender for my GTA.. been looking for months, and still can't find one. it sucks.... had to end up getting it sprayed with a dented fender.

Well i hope im not getting ripped off because this place that im buying the fenders and front bumper is the # my insurance company gave me in back of the report. Lets just say i was involved in an accident. I would hate to think the insurance company would f*%k with me cause the damage on my camaro was an estimate of $1,450.00 and there only giving me $420.00. By the way there aftermarket parts they say they dont carry GM parts. Is there anything i can ask the sales person to assure that the parts are ok before i buy i plan on going this saturday to buy it.

Fenders for Camaro's were exactly the same from 82-92. I still say go somewhere else for GM fenders, but it's up to you. Just make sure the lines are okay on them. The parts that are normally off are on the bottom and since you have GFX it shouldn't be that noticible.
