here's some before and after shots of the interior of our '89 Iroc we have recently purchased. the floor mats are only temporary, they're out of our old Monte Carlo SS and dont fit very well...

i think we're going with the original color, that metallic maroon color. it will look sweet when we get new wheels on it. maybe some Snypers or grey ZR1's or something, we'll have to see

first, i was joking. second, im only 17...wouldnt be that bad..
another vote for maroon...but since your getting it all done try to find one with a little more metal flake and maybe even a little pearl. i dont know, make it look like you got a paintjob.

we're mixing the paint ourselves and we're gonna make sure it looks good. it's not gonna be professional by any means, but my dad has had experience in painting cars since the 2 camaros we have would be his 17th and 18th fbodies total in his life.

my gf would kill for a sting ray, she points out the years when we see them
its my fault though, she didnt like cars before, so that has nothing to do with why im dating her. and at least you got a girl who likes cars at that...muscle cars (assuming she likes older ones as well).

Man im 18 yrs old. Had few chicks and did my thing so far....
Now i need to get my butt back to college and put money in my vette and let my Z sit in my garage and have the years pass by and have it the same mileage as it is now. By the way the project looks good so far. Just need to clean it up and replace the mats/steering wheel for the interior. Good Job Thread Starter

yea the floor mats are temporary, out of our totalled out Monte Carlo SS. we'll be getting Iroc-Z embroidered ones soon, and the steering wheels is actually in decent shape just needs some cleaning, along with the rest of the carpet and dash.

ive heard that about armor all also. and also, it attracts dust and stuff.
your gf would love my friends 87 mustang. bright yellow with a 347 stroker, loud as *****. stay with her man, a year is good to have. ive been going out with my same sting rany loving girl for two years and were both 17, a lot of people think its crap, but sometimes you just find the right person early. her sis met her husband in high school as well so we got something going for us. keep the car, keep the girl, you will be one very happy, lucky guy

it works pretty good. i'm only an hour and a half away although next semester i think i'm transferring to a school in st louis so it's only like a half hour away and i can stay at home and work while in school...should be much easier i think
and it'll keep less miles on my car too!

Zee.....
I've got a brand new Drivers side fender sitting in my livingroom still in the wrapper I don't need.
It's made for the 91-92 style though which has the ground effects cut outs on the front. These are two long slots cut out to fit the newer style ground effects.
If you're interested... make me an offer. I'll warn you ahead of time though... shipping is expensive.
It's just taking up space.... and hopefully I won't need it for a LONG time. so I'm willing to deal with a fellow vert owner.
It's made of steel and in perfect condition ready for painting.
And will mount up on a coupe, it's not a vert fender.
The mounting tabs are different on a vert than a coupe.
PM me if you're interested.
