New stripes

Just got the new stripes on last week. Not too sure if I should paint the blisters. Stripes were done by Clearview
appearance in Dover, De.

looks good, i'd paint the blisters grey, with a red stripe around the edge.

Obviously those are heritage style stripes...my question is did you want the squared off edges like you have or did you want to exactly replicate heritage stripes and the shop just couldnt do it?

edit: forgot to mention how i like the look of the blisters!

I say paint the blisters, they interfere with the flow of the stripes, but I like the idea of a red stripe around them, maybe have it so the stripe goes around the front and sides but runs straight off the back of the blisters

The guy that printed the stripes had a heritage pattern in his computer, and I did want them rounded at the edge of the hood, but by the time he cut them on his laser cutter, it was too late, so I settled for square, which I didn't want but does look different.

The car looks beautiful. I think either way you go painting the blisters or not will look good is just how deep you wan to dig in your pocket. I say.....leave it. The car looks awesome. Too bad the stripes got cut the wrong way. Still looks great though. I haven't really given your profile a look-over but your car didn't come with the OE decal stripes did it? I don't remeber chevy ever producing them with that color/stripe combiation. Regardless, looks wonderful!!

(For a Mack6: Do you plan on putting some blisters on yours when it warms up? I know you wanna keep the stripes so you probably wont go with a SS or ram. Hawks is the place to get 'em for repros unless you can find some used one in NICE condition. post or PM me back)
