i'm thinking about buying a daytona hood for my 88 iroc convertible but i've never seen a convertible with it so if anyone has pics please post

Those hoods look pretty damn sweet in my opinion and trust me I'm as anti-rice as you can get I don't understand how anyone can say they look like rice they look way to DEADLY to be on a *****.. Something like that hood would make a ***** or a ****stang cower if fear.. I say GO FOR IT!

IT'S A MATTER OF PERSONAL TASTE. I HAVE ONE ON MY BLACK 86 AND LOVE IT. I'VE GOT TEES SO I CAN ONLY SAY WHEN THE TOPS ARE OFF IT LOOKS SWEET. ONE THING IS FOR SURE. IT WILL GET ATTENTION FROM EVERYBODY. IF YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT IT DO IT. WILL BE POSTING NEWPICS OF THE HOOD TOMORROW SO YOU CAN SEE.

thanx i would have to change the springs with the hood right? how much do they cost? and is there anything else that has to be replaced?

 

im sorry taste is something diff for everyone but those hoods are horrible, i think the things you should do to a 3rd gen are only what you chevy might have done as well to much looks tacky

 

I DIDN'T HAVE TO CHANGE THE SPRINGS ON MINE. JUST BOLTED RIGHT UP. TOOK ABOUT 20 MINUTES TOTAL-ONE PERSON. LIKE I SAID EARLIER, EVERYTHING IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DO SOMETHING TOTALLY UGLY. I KNOW SOME THAT PREFER A FLAT HOOD. IF YOU LIKE IT AND SINCE YOU HAVE TO LOOK AND DRIVE IT EVERYDAY DO IT. BESHIDE ANYONE THAT DOESN'T LIKE IT CAN BUT THERE OWN THIRDGEN AND HOOK IT UP THERE OWN WAY.
