Meguiars Cleaner wax

i was wonder what everyone thinks about the meguiars 1 step cleaner wax. It says it cleans ,polish and protects in one easy step. or do you think the 3- step would be worth the end result.

The 3 step works great, not on the t/a(bad pant) but on my other trucks it took out all the swirl marks and polished it up really nice!I can't say anything about the 1 step though.

Its not worth it at all. Its just thick goopy crap that fills in your scratches and swirls temporarily. If you want an off-the-shelf product, try NXT, its much better.

If your paint is in really good shape then it's perfectly fine. If have swirls and other marring you'll want something a bit more aggressive, and the three step process works pretty well. Keep in mind that doing this by hand requires some work! Also keep in mind that when using a polish you don't want to let it dry to a haze like you do with a wax - you need to really work a polish in to get any benefits, and then wipe it off before it dries. Waxes can just be gently rubbed in, allowed to haze, then wipe off. Always make sure to put on really thin layers of wax, not heavy layers that dry white enough to totally hide a black car - that's bad. Seriously, if you think you're putting it on too thin, you aren't. Use two coats.

If you really want to do it up right, wash the car, clay bar it, then do the three step. You'll love the finish.

I like the Cleaner Wax too. Works for "quickie jobs". I use AstroSheild polish though. Works great, leaves and awesome shine and glaze.

Only a month old? I'd go with a light coat of wax, very light, if that. Your body shop should've put you a good glaze before it left. Usually lasts for a month or two.
