My Wheel Polishing Project
just wanted to show off my hard work a bit...
the 2 with the centercaps are completely done, the one that is shiney that has no center cap is the one i'm currently workin on, its almost done...then the other one is completely untouched and thats how the rest of them used to look...I have alot of elbow grease into these baby's!!! they are polishing up pretty good tho..
they are 18x8" eagle alloy 077's polished aluminum finish...

Beautiful work - how are you doing it and how much time are you spending per wheel to acheive this level of beauty?

well everybody told me to use tripoli and white rouge...COULDN"T FIND THE CRAP ANYWHERE!!!, except the internet... so i had like 200 bucks worth of gift certificates to this big hardware store called fleetfarm, and i just bought a bunch of that mother's mag and wheel polish, and a mother's buff bull. I didn't think it would work very good, but turns out its workin beautifully...i really like that buff ball...
i worked on each wheel maybe a couple hours or so, i only worked on them for like a half hour at a time, i can't sit down and polish for like 5 hours straight...
they are pretty easy to polish, but where the spokes meet with the outer part you gotta do those crevices all by hand...really time consuming...
i appreciate the comments...should be worth while definately, seeing i got them for free from a buddy of mine...even he was in shock, he was trying to get me to pay for them..haha

no clearcoat...i stripped one of them and i didn't see anything being stripped off so i figured there was none...
i already have the spacers, just need some tires and they will be on for summer...i'm lookin forward to it too, i found 2 thirdgen's on cardomain with these rims and they fit the car real nicely, so i'm pretty excited to bolt these baby's on...
yea we have a home depot in Green Bay, about an hour from me, fleet farm is right next to it, and i had all those gift certificates so i decided to go to fleet farm instead...
