Pics of RIMS (read)

Im looking to buy some rims for my car. I want to show a lot of chrome yet I dont want it to weigh down my car to much. I already have adapters for my car for any fwd rims but I rather stick to the rwd rims.

Can anyone post some pics of there rims and or the prices they paid?? And possibly where I could get them??

Thanks a lot!

These are weld pro stars and run around $150 each. We got them from Summit, but you can pick them up from just about and of the major mail order stores.

FWD rims have the face of the rim very close to the outer rim of the wheel to clear the brakes and transmission and whatnot up front.
So if you use em on a RWD car, you'd need spacers to make up for the backspacing.

Does anyone know of 18" GTA rims or even 17's? I really want a more aggressive stance for my 'vert and I will not give up the look of my GTA rims.

BTW, your 'vert looks bad-****

FWD and RWD:

Front Wheel Drive (like cavaliers) and Rear Wheel Drive, like camaros. I have some FWD rims I was gonna put on my camaro, but I would have to have adapters to them. Which I bought but the hub was bigger than the rim hole. So they couldnt fit. Its a good idea to buy rwd if you dont know the measurments for the fwd.

19 lbs? Wow, and I thought my 17x9s were light at 23 lbs each...

But the tires take care of all that at 31 lbs. a piece.. phew!

i like those niche wheels...

but i would only put them on a european sedan... i had those on my bmw in 96, then 2pac was killed in his bmw, so i sold it and never bought a bmw since

emotional crap happens when one of your favorite rising star gets killed in the exact same car you have. that was my first and last foreign car, so i dont think those wheels are coming to me again.

Hey don't worry... everyone from the midwest says that. I saw it on a "you know you're from Illinois when..." chain letter, it said about halfway down "you add extra unnneccesary prepositions to the end of sentences" and I was like yeah.... I guess I do that, just like eveyone else I know does.

:lala: Ok I'm kinda being a lala here.... this is so off topic. I'm just gonna shut up and leave you guys in this thread alone and not come back.

Here's a pic of mine. 17x8's with 255/40 Pirelli P6000's. You can usually find em for 180-200 a piece depending on where u look. I got a killer deal through my friend's business though on mine. They are Eagle Alloys 2-piece series 203, Polished Billet Aluminum.

You could always go with TTII's. That is as long as you don't mind paying about $279 per wheel for 17's.

I got 17" ROH snypers! There not chrome and i wanted chrome but i'm glad now i didn't get chrome. I think chrome would have been $1300 without tires! but anyhoo, i like the look after i got them so maybe consider not getting chrome. I don't have pics of my car yet but if you do a search you'll find some pics of the snypers! RSpeed's car comes to mind!!!
