Meguiars Gold Class Wax - Opinions...
I just went out and bought a container of Meguiars Gold Class "clear coat" wax and a California Water Blade. What I was wondering is if any of you have ever tried this product and what you thought of it compared to other products. I am very skeptical because after searching no one seems to really use it much at least compared to the NXT. When I went I thought this looked better because the NXT looked like it was being marketed to a *****. Before I was using a liguid Eagle One wax and was pretty disspointed with the results and how sloppy it was so I decided to go to a paste instead. All opinions needed....

I use meguiars gold class exclusively. I honestly can't say how much better it will be than 'X' Wax, because my car has original paint thats in amazing condition, and its white...so it looks good with pretty much any wax. I too wanted to go get some NXT wax, but the sad truth is that it has a very short life span. My friend used to have to wax his mustang every 1-2 weeks when he used that because it just evaporates or whatever that quickly. I really like Gold class's durability..and i think its one of its stronger points. One coat will usually last me 1-2 months atleast.

The NXT does have a really short life, but it looks awesome when it's on.. I ***** this picture too much, but this does happen to be right after the NXT.. So it applies..

Dude, get the 3 step system. I wish I had pictures to prove it, but we did my car and my g/f's Jeep with it and it made her car (which is black) look 10x better. We thought the paint was a wreck that couldn't be saved until we used the 3 step system, it almost looks brand new. It made my car look so much better, but it's white so like amack said, any wax works good.
Trust me, 3 steps, you will be MORE than pleased. it is well worth the money.

In my opinion, gold class is much harder to remove than NXT. And it does not out shine NXT at all. Therefore, i'd go with the NXT if you're going with off the shelf products.
wow, ive had the oppsite results. i stopped using gold class beacuse it lasted only a week or so. it also didnt make the car feel as silky as other waxes
this stuff seems to work well for me, and lasts a long time Car wax, polish and detailing products by IBIZ

Pretty much anything from Meguiar's is a good product. I've never used the Gold Class wax but I do use the NXT wax on clients' cars and I like how easy it is to apply/remove, and the shine it gives. I really have no idea how long it lasts though.
