Getting a new car, got pics

Well, it's a 1985 IROC-Z I owned one just like it a few years ago and sold it, ever since I had sellers regret and always wished I could have it back, then last week on ebay I saw a identical IROC to the one I had and as of now I am in the middle of finalizing the deal with the seller.

I currently have a 91 Z28 with the L98, there are alot of things I have to do the car and through pricing it out it would cost me about $16,000 to restore it to MY liking, The 1985 posted above is everything I want my 91 to be but for half the price, and in this kind of condition im pretty sure if I hang on to it for a few years I would be able to get more then my moneys worth back out of it if I ever sold it (which I wont)

I feel pretty good about it, even though it is a 305, I have no problem giving up my 350 for it, im all about having a good looking future clasic mucle car thats fun to drive on the street.

Awesome IROC. Looks like a pretty good deal. I agree about the idea of buying one that doesn't need a lot of restoration... that's a good way to avoid high costs.

looks nice like the blue... my friend just sold a blue 1990 iroc-Z for 12,000 but it only had about 20,000 miles on it.

Hey thanks! Yes ill be selling my 91 now, or in aug. when I get back from over seas, I know I forgot to mention but the highest bidder backed out so my bid of $5600 stands on this no reserve car.

Do you guys think $5600 is a good price for it? I think so but im getting a lot of scuff from friends, probably because they like the 91 better and hate to see it go but they make it sound like $5600 for any 3rd gen is over priced. I think it comes down to how much would you pay for a MINT 3rd gen that if well maintained it will be come a desired car and classic. Notice, "maintained" not "restored"

Yeah, I forgot to mention that, The winning bidder had some issue with ebay that made him un able to win, if you look at his ID he is no longer a registered user any more, the other guy lost interest with the car after the two week gap between the end of auction and the notifcation of the no deal with the original winner and the other is in a different country and un-willing to pay the transportation.

It's crazy that this slipped through that many people, but I told my wife after I bid the $5600 that if I was out bidded I wouldn't bid again, and if God intended me to have this car that I would end up with it in the end, and here we are, im now dealing with the guy for his car!!
