Got around to putting my springs in the other day with the help of a few of my friends. It really wasnt a bad job at all, just took a little while.
Dropped the car down about 1.5" and i also installed a Hotchkis adjustable panhard at the same time. When i let it down from the lift, the rear had shifted to the drivers side some, so the adjustable bar was necessary. I adjusted it to the center and its fine now.
here's a couple quick pics

very nice! Really sharp! You must be really proud of that car. In dropping it 1-1/2", what size rims and tires did you use?I'm trying to put together a combo for mine. Did you always have them on? Were you always planning on dropping it? typical newb ?

My Zed with original springs looks pretty much the same. Mind you they are soft as mashed potatoes.

looks really good man! That car has really come together nicely.
Wonder what it would look like with a body colored grill.

That looks really good. My car really needs a drop, but I'm still not 100% sure I want to do it. I scrape enough as it as, but I'm not sure if it was the ground effect or the lower air dam (if it's the air dam I don't care). Those lowering springs are fairly cheap too. Definately on my consideration list.

very very nice car man it looks great with the wheels and springs i like that kind of look alot better than the drag look you had b4 with the prostars. those springs will probably settle a little more if they havent already. ive got intrax 2" in my car. did you do the lca reloc. brkts. too? how is the performance any difference?
can i get a full size shot of the third one from the top to my e-mail. its maroon88iroc@yahoo.com

Are they really needed when you lower the car? I only have a V6 so it doesn't spin too easily anyway, but when it does there is a little wheel hop now.

Looks very sharp, it has that pro touring look now. I'm loving your car more and more every time I see it.. I had to look to actually see your ghost flames and yet I can only see them in a few shots. I love that. I wonder if ghost flames would work that well on a black car?
I must have lucked out because when I installed my sportlines my rear end shifted less then one centimeter, which is no big deal, so I went with a non-adjustable panhard bar.

Brisk - ghost flames can be done on black paint but it is alot harder from what my painter friends tell me, because the pearl shows up alot more. Best bet would to use a candy ghost flame i think...
thanks everyone

Love the car and how does it ride with the springs on the Mass roads? 146/290 area is crazy now.

Can we get a side shot?
i've got sportlines on my brid and it doesn't look as low as some others I've seen with sportlines. Looks almost like I have the pro-kit, but my springs were red.

Heres a side shot, not the greatest because of the shadows but it gives an idea
the car handles and drives alot better with these springs on MA roads despite being lower. the whole car feels better

something to remember is that your formula has no GFX and will give the illusion of being a bit higher off the ground than tunedport335's Z28.
tunedport335: i never told you the car is looking amazing. just went right into the technical and never gave you the compliment due! lol! anyhow, keep up the good work, and make sure you get some new times yo!

if you've ever been to new england, you'll know that Mass, NJ, DE, and most of southeastern NY are HORRIBLE as far as road condition goes.

Yup all the time. Roads up here are pretty bad, you gotta keep your eyes peeled 24/7 or else you'll end up with some bent rims
I think the ride is alot better than the stock springs honestly.SnkSknrZ28 - no more drag car huh? Should look good though
Zepher - your car sits slightly lower than mine. Mine still has to "settle" though i suppose
