Got bored and cleaned the rims........
A post gave me an idea i need to clean my rims...so I did.

Looks good man ! How did you do them ?? I just did mine too ! I used some 240 grit paper and took them down to the raw aluminum and then polished them up but they dont look as good as that !!! Nice job !

Thanks...I did the same really. Just sanded up thru the grits to about 2000 or so. Then buffed them with different types of compounds
Follow the sticky up top thats the best way. IM gonna polish them with some dedicated wheels and compounds some day.

I have GTA-style wheels with gold paint on them. Can I use the same process, or will the paint come right off?
