17 inch IROC wheels.. that aren't chrome?

I want to get some 17 inch IROC wheels for my car fairly soon. I know a few years back a place called Performance wheel outlet made them in the stock style. Now all I can find are chrome wheels.

Does anyone still make the 17's in the stock style? I really do not want chrome wheels.

I don't have a answer for you, but I am really interested in this too. I'm going to try to get ahold of the manufactorer because I'd like to get them bare and a combo of 17 and 18s. I also want something bigger than 8in deep, but don't think they will do that.

Send a PM to Jim85IROC He mods the Electronics forum, and I think he's a distributor for aftermarket Iroc wheels.

Hey guys, actually the rims came polished, but I re-polished them and painted them. There is a company on Ebay that is selling the 18's in 'machined' finish:

Re: 17 inch IROC wheels.. that aren't chrome?

I ordered a set from west coast wheel factory in CA last Friday. I should have them this week and I'll put up pics then. Only downside is they are 8.5 wide.

Are those 18"S in that ebay pic? They look awful! Looks More like a 20" in terms of the spokes.

Re: 17 inch IROC wheels.. that aren't chrome?

Because it is a bigger inch wheel. If you look at their other listings, it's all the same picture from a 17-26 inch.

I know its bigger.

I ahve seen a lot of 17" and 18" Irocs on cars here and they look great. Then you see the 20" 22" and 24" and the look stupid.

I'm guessing thats a 20" or bigger in the photo on ebay. I'd order a set of 18" if the look right, but not if they look like that.

Look at MR. IROC-Z wheels and how thick the spokes are in relation to the holes, then look at the spokes on the ebay ad.

Re: 17 inch IROC wheels.. that aren't chrome?

I was skeptical at first but then i looked at all of the other iroc replicas out there (in chrome) from various manufacturers. As the wheel diameter increases, the spoke width does not.

This is closer to what the wheel should look like.

Either way, we'll see when I receive them. They shipped today and I'll hopefully see them friday or saturday.

Re: 17 inch IROC wheels.. that aren't chrome?

Got my wheels today. I started a post here. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/whee...nt-fed-ex.html

Measuring the spokes, they are 4in wide at the center and 3 in wide at the lip. In person they do not look disproportionate, there is black material outside of the machined area. It doesn't show up well in pictures.

I'd like somebody to measure their oem wheels for spoke width. I'd even be curious on width for other 18 inch replicas.
