emblems and year

I am about to buy a GFX emblem off an 87 for my 91. Will it match my other side exactly? I am pretty sure it will, as I have a pic of the part I am about to buy and I know what the ones on my car look like, but I would feel more secure if someone told me they knew for sure. Thanks.

Which color are you purchasing and which one do you have on the car. I believe that all the red and silver emblems were the same color, but the special green/blue colors weren't.

The silver Z28 emblems from 91-92 are uniform in color while the earlier versions had shades of silver/grey...they are different.

If you still have the emblems, you can take the apart (carefully) and get a new sticker, then polish the clear top up and glue it back together.

A friend of mine sells the stainless, he has the same username on TGO:

Yeah, I know all about the stainless emblems. If I do not find a nice 91 style grey one soon I am gonna have to get a set of stainless ones from him..... Sorta didn't wanna go that route, but oh well. Don't have any other choice. But for now, my car is still in the body shop so its no rush....

I just checked year one. They have alot of good stuff, but doesn't look like they have what I am looking for. They don't have pics for each item. It looks like they might have the part, but it is just misslabeled. I will have to call them to see what they say. There is no option for my 91-92 camaro Z28 all gray emblems. They do have something that looks very close. I might look into just getting a couple of those.

I acctually might want to go with the ones that have the 3 different colors, cuz my ZR-1s are gunmetal and if the emblems have a shade that matches, it might look cool.

hmm....
