car cover burns, **** help.....
So, biggest mistake I've made yet with my car. I've got (had) beautiful black paint. I parked the car outside so I could use the garage but it's been raining so bad I put a cover on it to keep it dry, my t-tops and windshield both leak. well turns out it was also windy that night by the next moring when i pulled the cover off I noticed rub marks from the damn cover. Looks like someone sanded my paint. they are on the spoiler end, and rear quarter/roof line also in 4-5 other spots. most are small but they look like crap. how do I get them out. I've never buffed anything before.

Go to autozone and get some products like swirl remover and buff with that. If that does not work, you are going to need a more agressive product.

O'rileys auto parts has a really great polish from meguires. get the finest machine glaze polish they have. Ive used it by hand to clean up slight oxidation. Just dont blame me if that spot of your car looks better than the rest! The stuff really work miracles.

It is just superficial. Don;t sweat it. A good wax will take care of it.
If that for some reason don't, a fine rubbing compound will. A littel experience with a buffer is a requirement if you don't do it by hand.
