Pro Star's

Im looking to fit the widest Pro Star wheels on the my camaro. I know nothing with backspacing and all that. Can someone Tell me what backspacing and offset I need to go with to get the widest rears on my car?

I will be putting slicks on these wheels and i would like the rim size to be 16" if that matters.

Thanks Everyone,

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I would go with 15s unless you want the XP series witch is about twice the price. I have 15x10 prostars with 5.5bc on a 275 tire

buy some better tires, you don't need any wider.

Well what a good tire to look at? It will be driven most of the time so it must be a good dry/wet tire. I'm looking into the g-force's they look like they are a pretty good tire.

If anyone has any personal experiance with certain tires please let me know which ones are good/bad.

i have 275's on 10" wheels with no modifications or anything and they JUST clear the fender lip. and FYI you dont need to buy XP series to get 16" prostars you can get them in regular syle.

Ive got 275's on 10 inch rims as well and theres plenty of room between the lip and the tire??

So what are some good tires to think about.

www.discountire.com let's you flip through and compare based on size.

if it's to be driven in rain then a drag radial isn't the best idea, but they'll hook the best

I have a 295/50/15 on a convo pro, it is a 8.5 inch wide wheel so it pulls it in, plenty of room.
