For Anyone Trying to Decide What Rims to Buy

I was searchin the net and came across a site that lets you choose what rims you want, and shows you what they would look like on your car, for the photoshop challenged, like me

It's well worth checkin out.

Huh it worked for me today
I dont know how accurate the rim sizes are in proportion to the car, it makes 15" wheels look like donuts and 20" look kinda good.

For the people that can't see it, you need to update java.

I just thought it was a cool way to see what rims look like before you go and buy them. Like 1985WS6 said, it doesn't seem too accurate, but you get the idea of what they would look like. You can even change the colour of the car and make the tint darker to match your own.

Cool site, but i find it inaccurae. Some cars are done well, others are not. Example, camaro looks great, except it has a slight rake to it. Firebird formula has a reverse rake, as if the engine was out. Also, 18s look like 17s and 50 series tires look like 40 series. 15in wheels dont look like 15 in either. I also took off 1in because my suspension is old, but still it doesnt look right. Just my 0.02, but definately helps to imagine stuff! Thanks for the link.

cool site, but half the wheels look terrible on that site....it took me 5 minutes to even find mine, and once they were on the correct size, I didnt even like them

tirerack.com has been doing something similar for years and they seem to have a wider selection of wheels too. not that big of a deal that things aren't 100% accurate with regard to stance, colors, etc since either site is far better than just trying to imagine the wheels on your car

The applet in that link is much better than the tirerack version. Tirerack has only 2 wheels for the Birds.

I don't like how "cartoony" it looks. It made me want to find a photoshop guide to switching tires, lol.
