The car was freshly painted two summers ago. It has seen little harsh weather, and the paint still looks great, but protection is protection. Any suggestions?

If you want long lasting shine WITH DURABILITY, Zaino! www.zainobros.com
Zaino is a polish, not a wax. It bonds with your clear coat and WILL NOT WASH OFF. Keep it conditioned with Zaino Z7 Car Wash.
To get started, you have to have Z1,Z2,Z6,Z7.
Always clay bar your paint before a wax/polish job to get all the imbeddeded junk out. Otherwise youre just polishing dirt. Zaino Z18 is the best clay bar, Clay Magic would be 2nd, Mothers sucks.

If you want a quick wax job that will last 2-3 weeks, Meguiar's products are for you.

Stay away from Mothers IMO. A rep from Mothers TRASHED the paint on a black 34 Chevy show car that I worked on with Zaino with a demo of their products and I'm still pissed at him Luckily, we were able to restore the badly damaged clear coat with Zaino Z5.

Zaino all the way. If you don't want it though, or need something in the interim, use Meguire's Gold Class.

sorry i have to do this.

Meguiars- WAX- lasts 1 month max

Zaino- Synthetic Polish- lasts 6-8 months on average on a daily driven, garaged car.

I'm using all steps of meguiars and I love the stuff. They have polish as the 3rd step and wax as the last. I have nothing but good things to say about the stuff. I haven't used that Zaino stuff yet but I can bet it's about the same. There couldn't be much of a difference. Since everybody sayd Zaino then go with that, I just went the road less traveled and I'm happy.
