Clear Camaro Tail Lamps

Anyone interested..? I've almost finished my own and i'm thinking about making a few more to sell and help cut down the costs of the first set.

those that are familiar with the pro car parts clear markers compared to the original amber this would be considered very close to the same but tail lights. if you are interested email me about it; however understand that they will be expensive. starting prices somewhere around $250 a light, possibly more. less of course if you just need the lense.

do not ask me here for pictures as you won't get them yet.

i'm sorry but there is another company that is looking to do something similar, i have various shots of some mold work for serious buyers but no one gets full pictures until they are fully ready to market. that is unless you own a set i guess you can't be stopped.

pictures will come in time..

not sure how they would look as i generally dont like clear tailights on any car. and the ones on the market just look uncle bens to me.

Depending on the look tho in the pics, i'd beable to make a decision on that. But i could tell you this, and i'm sure you know, you have an aftermarket for them...many many ppl have asked about clear lights

Are you talking about actual clear lights as in all "white" lenses for colored bulbs? Or are you talking more about the "tinted but clear" lights found on a lot of newer cars, like this PS I made a while back?

i'm actually looking into both as it's a simple as adding colored die to the mold. but it's costly, i'm already up around $1400 for my set of tail lights.

yes, id love to have some clear tails like the one on the silver iroc, but actually id perfer a "smoked-clear"

I wouldnt fork out that much for them though...$250 maybe reasonable but not each.

I understand why they would be so expensive though. I really wish theyd make some aftermarket tail lights for our cars, just there is not enough demand.

I love the 5.0 stangs smoked clear tail lights...thats what id want.

FOR THE RECORD: because we will get tons of are those real? The silver iroc and iroc 2nvs are photoshoped but i beilive that purple car was real.

Any estimate on just the lenses?

$500 for the whole deal is a bit much considering most 3rd gens are worth just about that much.

Still waiting for the mythical reverse cowl carbon JDM hood to be ready too.

its not to bad for $500 considering alot of altezza and projection style lights for alot of these sport compacts are around 2-500 and our taillights arnt exactly small

if you made ones like chevyken posted i would 100% buy a set

i can understand and that's why the aftermarket has left us alone as many thirdgen owners can't or won't spend the money needed which is fine. i'm not looking to make a 1,000 unit production run. people who are interested and fit in this category will step up.

the hood is almost done and again it's a simple issue with trying to get it perfect as it takes time.

while $500 seems much there's nothing i can do about it unless we were to get some sort of massive group ordeal going where then obviously costs could be cut. if this were to happen it wouldn't be until fall as i won't be releasing any pictures anytime soon which i'm sure won't help. to give you the best idea though they are very similar in ideas to what's on the gray iroc.

i'm not about to sell a duplicate copy of my lights that i paid $1400 for to someone for $100. $500 is hard enough. it won't happen.

the idea would be more like the gray iroc but in red. to translucent and they look cheap. smoked is also an option. right now though mine are clear, they look almost identical to what's on the gray iroc.

How about you just show us a picture of your almost finished $1400 set?

Thatd at least give us a better idea, its one of those things, i like the "frosted" more then just clear. If it looked like our reverse lights all the way across itd be perfect. Even at $500 you wont get enough if any interest right now if we cant at least see a part of what your making which you obviously have.

you really think so? those that are interested have already gotten pictures of the molds.

this isn't a tire kicker picture albumn thread, it's to find serious interest which has so far worked. those that are interested know what to do.
