Just ordered some new products!
I got some new polish and buffing pads to try and make the paint even better. I also got some high quality microfiber towels along with some of the best wax you can buy.

The Polish, The Pads, The Wax, The Spray on wax for in between waxes.
The rest of the detailing products:

And now to the projects:
Brake upgrade w/ hawk pads:

3.27 Gears:

New headliner:

Spohn SFC's:

There's a rather large storm going on outside right now. I'm really bored.

niceeeeee...
I've noticed that since my car has been garaged (unlike my RS) it doesn't need to be cleaned as much and therefore i have actually kinda been slackin w/ the detailing. besides a wash every week or two it doesn't get pampered too much. I need to put that moose wax to work again!
edit: my bad, forgot to say: Can't wait to see what you do with these new detailing products! Def. snap some pics!

spohn SFC's have to be welded everywhere they touch the floorpan, correct? i see u have the american thunder catback and a 3 inch cat, definetly tell me if u have fitment issues with the SFC's. i have practically the same set up.
btw, sometimes those rotors can be directional, so make sure u read the instructions

I thought that you were a gold class and Natty's lover? Just trying something new? Have you ever tried Wizards?

Can't wait to see it finished...By the way what did those rotors run you if you don't mind?
I'm obsessed with detailing too! I have invested a lot of money in professional products and supplies and it's all worth it. I'm fixing to pick up some Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax and Vanilla Moose so I can do a full detail on my car (you know the kind that takes all day to do). I've got some C5 brakes on the way and hopefully I can get my SFCs soon too.

Thats really not that bad. I would only need the fronts seeing I am still stuck w/ this drum rear. Do you have the part numbers? Where did you get the rotors?Originally Posted by IROCThe5.7L

Joe, let me know how the optimum works with your black paint. I heard Opti is a great product with no dusting at all! I believe its on the light side of paint cutting however... Opti Comp and Opti Hyper comp is more for the defects. Those LCC pads are wonderful and love them. Souveran is pricey but you cant beat the results
I think you should try nattys, its cheap and gives the finish a really deep wet look!

The rotors I purchased are at the bottom "Chevy Camaro 1982-1997 2 Fr + 2 Rr Ultimate Cross Rotors".
Just a warning, they kill you on shipping.
Nick, Nattys in next on my list. It's pretty cheap, so it shouldn't be a problem adding it to the collection. I picked the OP because I need very minor correction, so I'm hopping that will do the job leaving me ready for LSP. I got an orange pad just in case I have trouble with a spot or two.

I just don't know when to stop :P

Another 2 hours of work tonight and my headliner will be done.

Let me know how that Machine Glaze works for you. I just bought some of the Carnauba Moose Wax and Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze (but I'm going to apply it with the PC). The guy I got them from told me that they use the Machine Glaze on their Nova show car and it is incredible, it just doesn't last very long.

True, thats why it's a good idea to put a layer of carnauba over it.it is incredible, it just doesn't last very long.

Can't decide between the Clearkote killer combo or the 1-2 punch! Any opinions?

I'd go with the Killer Combo. Esp if it is going to be used on a darker color such as your Trans Am (Which is a niceeeeeeeeeeeee looking car by the way).

No it will actually be going on the white one. I don't have the GTA anymore
but thanks for all the help!

I found it locally for almost the same prices. $12 for the Vanilla Moose and $18 for the carnauba moose wax. Those are the best prices I've seen online though.Originally Posted by IROCThe5.7L
