Slotted headlight covers

If you look at a lot of camaro sites as I do you may have noticed that red camaro with the cowl hood. It also looks like the headlight covers are "slotted" kinda like the rear hatch louvers they sell. Has anyone ever seen these? Know where I can find out about them? Would like to see how they look on mine.

Thanx

there was a thread about them on here a long time ago...IIRC the company that made them went out of business, or just stopped making them, so they gotta be few and far between. I know for a fact that Ive never seen them turn up on any camaro or ebay item so I think they'll be hard to locate. (too overdone anyways IMO, but to each their own )

If they were painted to match the car it might be interesting.

Yes those are the ones. Never heard of a motor or anything to open and close them but what the hell, I really haven't heard anything about them... I planned on painting them to match the car. Worth a shot and would be an inexpensive thing to mess around with that could always get taken off.

Well if I ever find a set I will do it and post pics so all can see... Good or Bad everyone can learn from my mistake. lol I know I have learned from a few people on here what not to do, but this is a new one and the least I could do is return the favor.

Umm....it shouldn't. Sounds like you might have a problem.
